I have waited until after our floor was installed before writing this. Aylmer Flooring has lost my business because of one employee (Alex). We had gone into the store on a Sat afternoon and was treated very well by 2 other staff members, made a floor selection and made arrangements for installation, which has been completed by a great guy named Bill. My husband went back another day to discuss some tile choices for our bathroom and Alex told him he couldn't help him make choices because our look we were going for was "to 70's", so my husband left. On Monday I went to Aylmer flooring for a quote to do our quarter round. He was really nice and gave good advice on what to get. He said he’d have a quote for us by the end of the night and the trim guy might be able to come on Friday. I didn’t get a quote that night. The next day I called and didn’t get an answer. The day after I called and didn’t… get an answer. Thursday someone picked up and said their guy wasn’t in but we’d get a call first thing next morning. 2 days since then and they wont answer our call. Ended up doing it myself. Would not recommend

Very happy with how my flooring and backsplash turned out! Paint recommended and design scheme all worked together once it was done. It looks better than I could have imagined and my contractor was very professional and easy to work work with. I felt very comfortable with him in my home. Will be going back for other areas and definitely recommend!

They did our kitchen and bathrrom floor a year ago. we had vinyl put in. originally i was going to install the luan subfloor and they also asked that i reinforce the floor where holes had been cut for plumbing and heat runs. i was trying to save some money. i didn't have time and let them know. they still had the floor in on time, even though they had the extra work. charged very little more, less than what i could have done it for. Bob installed it. it looks great

Spent over $3500 on two seperate jobs . Had to argue about pricing both times, The last job was for my 80 plus year old inlaws on a 12 x 16 foot room. It was quoted to remove the base boards and reinstall them and also to remove the carpet , underpad, tackless and dispose of. Prices changed each time you talked to them. Finally went ahead with the… job. I ended up having time to remove the baceboards,carpet,under pad and tackless that shoud have saved $155 . Cut the carpet up and tided both it and the under pad in 3 foot lengths and put out side. Left a TV and one chair so they had something
