Information on what we are doing to keep students safe as we resume in-car driving lessons. Affordable training choices to prepare you for the ICBC Class 4 (restricted) Pre-Trip and Road Test. You want driving lessons from the best driving school. We use a proprietary curriculum based on International research which is the first of its kind in Canada.

We discovered the best practices from around the world and designed our programs especially for you, the Canadian driver. Our students learn to take full responsibility for their driving during their driving lessons, right from the start. This results in new drivers who are better prepared when they begin to drive solo.
Services
Our science-based approach for learning to drive is both comprehensive and fun, including interactive and insightful online learning. New drivers are at risk because they are often suddenly exposed to a wide range of scenarios for which they have had no training or prior experience. Couple this with a natural tendency towards impulsivity due to young age and development and unprepared drivers can be faced with serious consequences.
If you are unfamiliar with British Columbia's Graduated Licensing Program, you can get an overview on the ICBC website. Completing our Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) course is the most effective way to prepare for a lifetime of safe, responsible driving.

Unlike traditional driver training that limits its focus on road rules and basic vehicle control, our GLP course also features an in-depth study of new-driver risk factors, individual personalities, and lifestyle variables.Furthermore, this course is designed for students to develop self-awareness of their driving abilities as they learn to continually evaluate themselves throughout their years behind the wheel.
Driving Lesson Packages are available to suit the needs of all learner drivers. The Graduated Licensing Program is the cornerstone of our training program for novice drivers. Additional lessons and packages are available to help both new and experienced drivers to improve areas of their driving where they may need additional training.
A 90-minute evaluation lesson is available to help new or experienced drivers assess their current skill level. A driving coach will help you to understand your strengths and weaknesses, then identify the training options that will help you earn your license - or sharpen your skills and improve your confidence.
Please call our office to confirm schedule availability before booking your road test appointment with ICBC. A Road Test Package is a 2-hour service that starts with a warm-up drive to help get students settled prior to the exam. The warm-up will end with getting the vehicle parked and ready at the test centre for the Check-In time.

We spent the summer time teaching our daughter the basics of driving and then when we felt she was almost ready to take her test we had Robert take her out for 4 lessons, a total of 6 hours, driving through Port Coquitlam on the roads that the examiners frequently use.
Robert was THE most important part in the equation of getting her confidence in place and being able to nail parallel parking.
I fully recommend DUA for your child's driving instruction based on the skills, methods, and calmness that Robert provided during the in car lessons. Our daughter passed on the first time with no stress

With these driving schools, they're only as good as the instructor(s) you have. I have kids that took lessons before getting their test. One took it from Bestway Driving School and they were pretty good, but no longer operating.
My second child went through Young Drivers as I did when I was getting my license 40 years ago. They were endorsed by ICBC back in those days. They are expensive and terrible now - don't ever go through them. YD instructor barely said a word to my kid and scheduling a lessons was cumbersome. We ended up leaving a couple of lessons unused and were denied a refund. They
