We are a family friendly non-profit gymnastics club where family values, safety, and mental health mean as much as personal success and performance.
Altadore Gymnastic Club is looking for an experienced WAG Coach for the position of WAG Developmental and Competitive Coach. This position is located in Calgary, Alberta and reports directly to the WAG Assistant Head Coach or WAG Head Coach. This coaching position is responsible for coaching assigned groups, to provide a learning environment for all athletes and prepare them for future competitive programs.
Our Preschool and Recreational classes (CanGym & CanJump) are now continuous! No more forgetting to register, no more lump sum payments, no more trying to figure out what level to register in next! AND.Trampolines are BACK! All our recreational athletes can use the trampolines again! We care about your schedules.
Our Preschool (Active Start) program is designed for children under the age of 6. Altadore's Preschool program is a FUN introduction to a structured gymnastics class that involves basic movement skills for children who are walking independently. This class is a participation class, which encourages parent and child interaction in a safe gymnastics environment.
These classes will follow the CanGym program, which is a nationally recognized curriculum for recreational gymnastics. In the beginner level, the classes are co-ed and children train on all Artistic Gymnastics apparatus. In the Novice level, the boys will train on all six Olympic events; Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar.

All my kids have taken non-competative classes with Altadore on and off over the last 15 years. They all loved it. The new facility has a comfortable parent viewing area with quite comfortable seating. You can't always see your kids because the facility is huge, but it's probably for the best anyways, parents are distracting. The coaches are great with kids!

Just finished the first session of parent and squirrel. It was awesome, my little girl loved it and I was really impressed with improvements we saw. I was kinda expecting a place where the kids would go and just jump around but the coaches were great and I could really see how much more confident she was using the equipment, doing rolls, and just over all everyday motor skills. I also thought it was extremely affordable, well worth every cent. Can't wait for session 2.

Booked a birthday party for our 4 year old and his friends. The party was interactive and the kids were captivated by the instructors. After the class we were given a party room which made for a controlled environment for the kids.
5 stars all around and I would recommend this to any family that was looking for a birthday party.
