I went in and told the salesman what I wanted, he was very knowledgeable and quickly showed me to exactly what I was looking for. I ended up going with some floor models, so I wouldn’t have to wait for shipping. I got them home and hooked them up, the dryer was making a terrible noise. Come to find out, sometimes when a dryer has sat for a long while, the roller bearings for the drum develop a flat spot. I emailed to complain about the noise, and sent a video. They promptly replied and told me to use it for a couple weeks and see if the rollers roll back round again. After about 3 weeks I contacted

We purchased an LG refrigerator here rather than finding something at a big box store because it is a locally owned business. While the in store service was fine and the delivery staff did a good job, we made the mistake of taking their extended warranty.
To our surprise, when the refrigerator broke down (compressor died after only 3 years), we discovered that Essex Appliance does not do the service on the extended warranty.
We were not informed this was the case at the time of purchase.

Always have bought our appliances there, never again
Same experience as others....rude/blunt/condescending service operator. They don't want you to discuss or decide with anyone in your family after getting a price.
Crazy....along with followup to the chat by the manager (we assume) too. Couldn't care less about our experience

We bought an entire set of appliances from them 4 months ago and were told that everything was in their warehouse with our name on it. I emailed them 2 months ago confirming that everything we purchased was in stock and again was told that everything was in their warehouse. When I called to set up a delivery date, they said they have everything except 1 of the appliances. I would still recommend them. They are friendly and knowledgeable, but they will lie to you about having things in stock. They lied to us twice about stock.

I have never given a poor review on a business before today, but I absolutely cannot leave this unsaid.
We have purchased many appliances from this company and moving forward, we will never give them our business again.
The brand new fridge that we purchased was delivered full of scratches, and the fridge box was completely "twisted". It would not… level at all, and the freezer portion would rub when opening and closing. We also paid for them pick up our old fridge to dispose of as well, while they were here.
We contacted the sales person immediately (Randall) and he was very rude and dismissive

Felt disrespected from beginning to end. Worst service I've ever recieved. Ignored me when I walked in. I walked around for 15 minutes and had to walk up to the counter to ask for prices. Wasn't told about the contract that I signed on the BACK of the receipt. Told the guy at the desk that I needed the doors reversed. He said it would be done… before it came to my home and that I should expect a call by the following week to arrange a day to bring the fridge. Fridge took a long time to get to us. Called today to inquire about purchasing a new washer during this Covid crisis. Jim was awesome!! Everything was taken care of on the phone and internet. Gave me an amazing deal and it couldn't have been easier! An hour later we had our new washer loaded up in our truck and headed home. All concerns taken care of for us and employees at a distance. Used it twice today and I couldn't be happier with our purchase. Who knew you could use your washer via your smart phone!! Great job and thank you!
