The National Parks have several marketing strategies and require high end footage at their disposal. The Image Works was contracted to provide stock footage of winter activities in Jasper National Park. Snow Shoeing, ice skating, cross country skiing, ice walking and climbing were featured along with wildlife and beautiful scenic shots of Jasper!
Universities, schools and businesses are prepared for many different kinds of disasters such as fire and storms. But what about an active shooter? We don't usually think about it, after all, we do live in Canada. Universities around the province collaborated to streamline what to do if the unthinkable happened.
Bodo is a remote area in east-central Alberta that is the site of a large area of archaeological significance and would like to promote this fact and supplement the visitor experience to their interpretive centre. The physical properties of the area are sparse so we felt it important to create an intrigue as to how life was before the Europeans arrived.
Energy Dialogues is a web-based resource that explores current energy topics using an inquiry-based approach. The question posed was "How has wildlife been affected by energy development in Alberta?" The Image Works produced videos exploring energy development, student research on the effect on wildlife, and round table discussions presenting the findings.
