Hearing loss can have overwhelming effects on individuals and their families. Left untreated, these effects go far beyond hearing alone, and can lead to a sense of isolation, fatigue, stress, withdrawal and even depression. Connections to family and friends can suffer, work performance can decrease and overall health can be diminished.
Our goal is to provide personalized care and a unique experience - to every person that visits Hearing Care Clinic. No matter your degree of hearing loss, we will take the time to make you comfortable and confident in the hearing solutions available. You can expect the first appointment to take about an hour, and we encourage you to bring a close friend or family member with you.
Carson Tiede grew up in western Ontario. His parents, Dieter and Nancy Tiede, opened their first Hearing Care Centre in 1985, and Carson witnessed first-hand what a rewarding career it was for them. Upon completing his Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph, Carson completed the Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) program at Conestoga College and further became Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS).
Carson Tiede has become acutely aware over the past 3 years of yet another distressing effect that those with limited, or no, financial resources suffer here on Vancouver Island. This issue is not limited to one geographical area. Carson is a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner.
He has clinics in View Royal, Mill Bay and Chemainus which are what many consider the paradise zone of living: and yet Carson sees in the daily course of business the huge disparity that exists between the 'have' and the 'have not's'.The most visible sign to us in our daily lives, is the homeless plague that so many suffer under.
