Having the right music and entertainment is one of the major factors in making your reception memorable and fun! We've been professional DJs and MCs for over 50 years, and in that time we have helped thousands of couples achieve their vision of an unforgettable celebration with their family and friends.
In addition to our open air photo booths, MacMillan Entertainment brings you Flipover Flipbooks! Mobile Flipbook studios are the so much fun for your guests who will get a unique keepsake to take home with them.
Unlike a single snapshot with a traditional photo booth (also available of course!), with Flipbooks we take a short video that is converted into a series of pictures printed on site and bound together in a Flipbook that people can flip through to recreate the fun!With a full prop package, on-site printing and custom covers this process takes less than 2 minutes to get a Flipbook in your guest's hand!

MacMillan Entertainment is a full service DJ and A/V company specializing in company events of all types including dinner/dances, conferences, meetings and presentations. We provide full A/V support including staging, video screens, microphones and more! We can also have one of our talented and experienced DJs rock the dance floor so people can kick back and have some fun!
We are fully insured with both property and liability insurance to protect all parties involved. Our company was formed in the late 1960's and incorporated in 1972. All of our DJs have at least 10 years of experience and are assigned based on the type of event, the demographics of the guests and any cultural considerations.

Had an amazing experience having them DJ and MC for our wedding and reception (separate dates/events). Both times the DJ was very early to get everything set up. The quality was amazing and the DJ was so aware of the dance floor, the audience and requests. I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone!

I hired Macmillan Group back at the beginning of 2019 for my August 2020 wedding. Tim was extremely responsive from the beginning answering all my questions. They even offered a payment plan that helped with the financial aspect. Due to the pandemic, losing our venue and a pregnancy we had to change our wedding date multiple times. Each Date change they worked with me with no issues. We finally got married in September 2021.
The up lights they set up at my venue were gorgeous as well as our names in light. We had so many compliments about how gorgeous the lighting was. They even provided a microphone

Tim was our DJ for our wedding and was absolutely amazing to work with. He has a great personality and was very accommodating during the planning process when we had to postpone with him once due to the pandemic. He worked with us and helped us figure out what to do when we learned we could not dance indoors at our venue. He was great the night of our wedding, we loved his music selection and he played a lot of our requests. Tim also made sure we were following the time line of the night and that everything was running smoothly. My husband and I highly recommend Tim!

I hired DJ Mike Frost from MacMillan Entertainment Group as my DJ for my wedding. My husband-to-be was anxious about having a stranger in charge of our music, but I argued that we would have too much to worry about on our wedding day without adding music management to our list. MacMillan Entertainment assured us that their services were fully customizable to our needs.

I received so many complements for the great music DJ Mike G played at our wedding. He was great at picking the right songs to get everyone from all age groups up and dancing. We had no issues with the ceremony music, the microphones, nothing - everything was seamless. We are so happy with how things went for our wedding and highly recommend MacMillan entertainment.

I loved taking to Tim and vibing with him! We weren’t huge fans of Rob, unfortunately he took control of a lot of things and was a little pushy! Changed my shuttle arrival times to suit the first dance, I had those times in place to accommodate my older family members who were genuinely wondering where the shuttle was at 8:30! I wanted to have a relaxed schedule for speeches and one song for the introductions of my wedding party, but he insisted on having a different system. I also prefer email over phone, so I can go back in the email and make sure I’ve checked everything off my list, Rob

Huge thanks to MacMillan Entertainment Group, especially Josh! We had our wedding at the Peterborough Golf & Country Club, and Josh knew his way around perfectly. Everything went off without a hitch; from the wedding party introductions, timing our first dance, to playing our fave songs. The dance floor lighting really added to the ambiance too. Josh kept people on the dance floor ALL night, and we had a mix of kids, people in their 20s and 30s and then 50s and 60s- everyone was loving it! Overall, I could not have asked for a better DJ!
