The NCCP-certified instructors of Kimura Shukokai Karate - Canada West are dedicated to the teaching of karate, not only for self defence purposes, but also for character building, and the development of self-confidence, physical fitness and camaraderie.
Services
We focus on building self-confidence, improving motor and coordination skills, and having fun. In the class we teach basic karate skills, like blocks, kicks, punches, and stances. We talk about using words to solve problems, and getting an adult or older child's attention if we feel uncomfortable with a situation.
