Tribal Councils Investment Group of Manitoba Limited was formed in 1990 by the 7 Tribal Councils of Manitoba. Our vision is and always has been "to contribute to the self-sufficiency and prosperity of First Nations and future generations". Over the years we have faced many challenges, those challenges have made us wiser and stronger.
The original vision of TCIG is worth fighting for. The seven Tribal Councils committed to learning and benefiting from the lessons and accepting them as part of our path and not the end of our story. We are excited about the new chapter we are creating.

Tribal Councils Investment Group of Manitoba Limited was formed in 1990 by the 7 Tribal Councils of Manitoba. Currently, we are focused on opportunities related to First Nations health, specifically by building and investing in the Spirit Group of Companies (see below) and partnering with organizations such as Express Scripts Canada.
The Spirit Healthcare Group is owned by the seven Tribal Councils of Manitoba with strong accountability and transparency to shareholders and the Indigenous communities we serve. All Spirit Healthcare Group products and services are geared to enhance the health and overall well-being of First Nations people.
