Custom made foot Orthotic defines as a medical device is made to support, align, prevent or enhance deformities of the foot. A bio mechanical assessment should be performed to determine if foot orthotics would benefit a patient. Custom made Orthotics is fabricated at our labs with different materials to provide support for different foot problems.

Custom orthotics insole design: Ortho-model software is a simple and powerful design tool that captures the type and complexity of corrective custom orthotics.
At Canada Orthomedix, we use the Manual Stream fabrication technique, a traditional method in use for over 16 years. The production of orthotics is a multi-step process with detailed, intricate cast correction, orthotic fabrication, and modifications prescribed by the practitioner for treatment. Once we receive a prescription, we produce orthotics after moving them through five manufacturing, and two evaluation, stations.
Our new IQube foot scanner uses technology that is designed to measure, and produce, high-precision automotive and aerospace products to within a hair's width. Whether you need to scan a foot, a cast, or a foam box impression, IQube can produce a high quality 3D image in seconds. The design of the scanner allows your patient's foot to be scanned in non- weight, partial-weight and full-weight bearing positions.
