We are proud of our dedicated, well qualified staff. Currently 88% of our Educators are trained in Early Childhood Certification or have a university degree. The provincial government standard requirement dictates that 25% of childcare staff must have this training. It is the ongoing goal of the Preschool Centre and its Board of Directors to achieve 100% trained.
With this in mind, in 2005 the board established an ongoing scholarship program using funds from professional development, to support the financial burden of ECE training. All staff have extensive experience in childcare and are trained in the New Brunswick Emergent Curriculum.

Our Vision is a community where all children feel loved, respected and encouraged to develop to their fullest potential. Our program is planned to promote positive growth in the lives of all children. We will adopt a holistic approach that enables each child to develop their social, physical, emotional and intellectual abilities.
The Preschool Centre is an Early Learning Designated Childcare Centre and is in full compliance with New Brunswick Regulation 83-85 under the Family Services Act and Child Day Care Facilities, Operators Standards which govern how child day care facilities are managed and regulated. These standards also regulate how a Board of Directors shall govern the organization.
Our school age programs run as a summer camp from the Monday once school lets out until the Friday before Labour Day. Our child approved summer calendar is filled with excursions, art projects, field trips and activities each day. Parents have the option to register for one or two weeks or the entire summer.
Clark Street offers progressive programs and excellent care for infants, toddlers, 2, 3 and 4 year old's. Our loving teaching staff are certified with their Early Childhood Education diploma and Emergent Curriculum training. Opened in 2002 to address the community's need for good quality childcare options, this facility boasts large, bright rooms over 2 floors and is licensed for 60 children.

We are lucky we got our kids in here. Our kids are getting a fantastic mix of educational and fun activities. The staff is friendly and communicates clearly with parents.
This facility has a good-sized, well-stocked outdoor play area, with a separate and sheltered area for the babies to get some fresh air and play as well.
The several Preschool Centres share buses for pickup of after-schoolers. Those buses are also used to take kids on excursions from time to time. The children are also occasionally taken to local facilities on foot. My kids love these trips.
