Mission Statement - Our mission has always been to provide quality martial arts in safe and friendly environment in which to learn and train. Our objective is to teach our students with emphasis based on structure, discipline and focus. We believe that all students in all walks of life benefit by these simple character traits in order to succeed in life, regardless of age.
Lewis' Karate Schools is proud to be the exclusive affiliate of Gracie Humaita in Barrie. Royler Gracie and Royce Gracie are frequent guest instructors at Lewis' Karate Schools. In addition to Gracie Jiu-Jitsu classes taught on multiple days each week, including mornings, we offer seminars and clinics featuring Royler Gracie, Royce Gracie, and other notable instructors.
Our Black Belt Ceremony is a celebration for our students who had made it through Power Weekend. At Lewis' Karate Schools every December we hold a potluck gathering for all our families to socialize with the staff, students, parents, siblings and friends. Lewis' Karate School in Barrie was honoured to host the 2018 Karate In-House Tournament! Congratulations!

Don’t pretend like tapping each other will ever help you in a real fight like Mr. Lewis claims. Point sparring is pointless. Are you all going to pretend to hit your attacker for points in a street fight? I doubt it.
It’s ridiculous that he’s handing out any kind of belts other than white while no one is allowed to touch each other.
This will never help anyone defend themselves. I feel bad that people buy into the McDojo stuff. Tsk tsk.
