Wood Concepts Ltd provides a range of contemporary high quality products in a variety of domestic and imported species, with finishes to suit all tastes. We aim to closely match leading manufacturers including Appalachian, Dansk, Lauzon, Mirage, as well as many others, regardless of style or species.
We manufacture our vents to several popular sizes. Floor vents are either 'Flush' with the floor & manufactured to the same thickness as the flooring, or 'Rimmed' also known as top mount, which sits on top of the installed flooring. Whatever the style, these of course can be custom made to fit any hole size.
Looking up the staircase, these treads are usually "square", and give the impression of thick solid timber which focuses and enhances the look of the staircase. Wrapped treads wrap the existing raw tread or constrcution traed on an open staircase, and can be finished on multiple edges, including all six sides to give the impression of a 'floating' staircase.
Mantels can be custom manufactured to a required specification using a variety of species and can include 'live' edge pieces for a truly unique look. Medallions offer a focal point for an entrance hall, vestibule or room where a custom and unique look to that room or area is desired. There are many 'standard' designs to choose from, or design your own from whichever species of wood, natural or stained, and make that special statement you want.
Wooden mouldings cover items such as stair capping, quarter round, cove and corner mouldings, as well as burlap and other such trims. These pieces are generally used for finishing, and as well as our standard pieces these, can be manufactured to meet a variety of specifications to complete the installation.
