Services
Sherwood Dental has been a fixture in the Oakville and Greater Toronto Area (GTA) since its establishment in 1969. The dentists, hygienists, and supporting staff believe in caring for the patient, as much as caring for their teeth. We value our patients, and stand behind our commitment to provide them with nothing but the best.
Dr. Stephen Gaines graduated in 1993 from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology/Physiology and Physics. He continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his dental degree in 1997. Dr. Gaines is fervent about continuing education and is constantly in pursuit of avenues for learning more about the latest developments in the field of dentistry.
The staff at Sherwood Dental have always been awesome. I never have to wait more than a few minutes for my appt, they are very prompt and efficient. They also always try to resolve my issues the first time I mention them.
I feel that Dr. Gaines does not perform procedures that are not necessary, just to make money, as he has honestly told me before that I do not need certain things, when my previous dentist told me that I did (and Dr. Gaines told me why my other dentist may have suggested it, and why he did not necessary agree).Love these guys!

Sherwood Dental focuses on practices using the least invasive means possible to deliver optimal health to Oakville dental patients. One way we do this is with the use of laser dentistry. Our practice has invested in dental lasers to provide our patients with gentle therapy for a vast array of dental procedures and treatments.
Cosmetic dentistry can be described as procedures designed to improve the appearance of a person's teeth and gums, rather than to restore health or treat a medical dental problem. Many cosmetic services are commonly integrated along with restorative treatments though, in order to return the patient to an enhanced state of both form (appearance) and function (chewing).

After several decades of superior treatment from Dr. Eisner and his staff, I cannot imagine not having these services available. Everyone has always been very helpful and supportive. When I first began with Dr. Paul, Harriet and others at the previous Sheridan Mall location, I experienced a few allergic reactions to locals but was taken care of in… a professional manner and knew I was in good hands. Now my dental work is often completed with out the need for any freezing. All the staff and doctors show dedication and care to their patients and a visit to the dentist is something I look forward

I've been coming here for a few years now, the staff is professional and they can seriously make you smile:)
The hygienists are awesome and always on time.
Dr. Paul Eisner is funny and does a great job, even though I moved to the east end of Toronto and takes me 45 minutes to drive here, it's worth it!
FYI, this is the official dental office of the Argonauts!
