Services
Jensen Law is Interior British Columbia's premier criminal defence law firm. We are a small but dynamic group of lawyers who conduct trials and represent clients at every level of court proceeding throughout British Columbia, Western Canada and the Territories.

We are dedicated to providing our clients with a full and fair defence to any charge from quasi-criminal motor-vehicle offenses to the most serious indictable matters including murder and other homicide cases. Our number one goal in any case is to achieve the best possible result for every one of our clients.
Jensen Law dates its history as far back as the early 1900's when Jeremy Jensen's great grandfather began practicing law in Kamloops and the Interior. His expertise in the area of Drug Offenses and Impaired Driving was well known across the country. He had an early discussion with Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau on the development of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms prior to its enactment in 1982.
Jensen Law is unique, as it is first and foremost a criminal law boutique firm. This means that unlike other law firms, Jensen Law devotes the majority of its practice to defending clients facing criminal charges. As a result, Jensen Law's lawyers are significantly more experienced when dealing with criminal law matters.
Jensen Law has a long history of successfully getting clients significant payments of money for their injuries. When you're injured in a motor vehicle accident, you often have a right to seek compensation for your injury from ICBC. However, ICBC is a powerful corporation with an interest in pressuring injured individuals with valid claims into accepting the lowest possible settlement.
Being charged with impaired driving or any of the related criminal code offences such as driving over the legal limit, refusing a breath demand, or wilfully failing to provide a breath sample all carry with them the same mandatory minimum sentence even on a first conviction: loss of licence for a year and a $1000 fine.
