If you received an Appeals Resolutions Officers' decision and you disagree with it, you have to file an appeal to the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal within 6 months of the decision. As an influx of WSIB claim are being denied at the Appeals Services Division, both workers and employers are having to proceed to WSIAT resulting in noteworthy delays in having appeals heard before the Tribunal.
If you are a disabled worker and have paid into the CPP program through your previous employment, you are eligible for CPP disability benefits. I was apprehensive about hiring a legal representative for my WSIB case thinking anyone can deal with WSIB. The stress of healing and dealing with your case management was found to be to much. So putting Ottavio and Jessica to work for me was a very good choice.
