Earlier this year I started researching composite deck materials for a planned two tier backyard deck at our new home. I stumbled upon a product made by Deckorators called the Voyage line. This is a unique product which is a mineral based product that is 100% waterproof, had virtually no thermal expansion and contraction and it's design has built in extra traction. We have found that this summer the deck was still cool enough to walk on with bare feet when it was plus 30 in direct sunlight. It also offers outstanding grip when it is wet, unlike a lot of other composite brands out there. This product

**Lowering my review following a negative customer service experience. Slip sheets were not included during delivery of our fiber cement shakes and resulted on the paint sticking together and chipping the brand new product when pulled apart. 85% of the shakes were damaged like this and the only solution offered was more touch up paint, and all repairs are expected to be done by me. I personally spoke with the manufacturer who indicated slip sheets should have been provided and are provided when they ship to suppliers, but somehow the situation was blamed on me. Now I need to spend hours of work

Had a great experience with Mountain View BM. Prices are competitive with the big box stores and service is 1000% better.
I was originally worried that, because I'm not a contractor ordering large quantities, I wouldn't be prioritized as a customer and the service would suffer. BUT this wasn't my experience at all. After calling MV with a few questions, Justin suggested that I send in an email materials list, and he replied with a quote either the same or the next day. Justin was always patient and friendly as I adjusted the quote for some changing project requirements, and always got back to

I have Been going to mountians view for a couple years now. by far they have the best costumer service experience I have had out of any hardware store. Very knowledgeable staff with great prices on quality products . On multiple occasions I've gone in not knowing how to get a project done and Joel's taken the time to get my project back on track. Support local and go by mountain view .
