In the spring of 2006, V.H.L. Developments launched a major mixed-use residential and office/commercial development project in the vicinity of Sheppard Avenue East and Markham Road. The project was named Markham Place and was comprised of 9 townhouses, 408 residential condominium suites in two 16-storey towers and a 60,000 square foot, 4-storey, 49-unit office/commercial building.
