Fluffy Bottom Babies is independently owned children's boutique. We currently offer an array of hand-picked high quality clothing, footwear, toys and gifts for babies and kids 0-12 years. When shopping with us, you will find a wide variety of the traditional must-haves, as well as many true boutique items that are not found in your typical larger chains.
Each product is hand selected and when possible, personally tested for quality. All of our products must meet certain requirements in order to be considered for sale to our customers. Some of these criteria are: natural, made from sustainable means, recycled, locally made, handmade, fair trade or serves a greater good.

Services
We offer both online shopping and shopping in person at our retail location on 1595 Bedford Hwy (Sunnyside Mall), Halifax. Order online - our secure online ordering system is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week to take your order. We process payments using a secure payment processor and PayPal Secure Account Transfer Service which accepts most major credit cards as well.
Please contact for rates if you have questions. We use a private shipper and only ships on Tuesdays and Fridays, your tracking will be provided once we have it back from shipper, typically 2-3 days after your order leaves our store. You will notice that the majority of items sold through Fluffy Bottom Babies have very little or no packaging.

Great selection of products and brands I purchase often. Sadly, the manager is aggressive with sales. My husband went in for a size 8 rain boot for kids. They didnt have the size, so she insisted the 9 in another brand fits the same as an 8 in the brand we were looking for. Comparing to other kids boutiques, the return policy is limiting. Store Credit I will use in the future but I wont come back after that. Local or not - spending elsewhere.

Unbelievably poor customer service and "return" policy (there IS NO return policy, exchange only). Unworn, brand new items attempted to return 2 days later (after THEY sold me the wrong size. I tried to buy Wullyz and told them my kids' shoe size. They told me equivalent inches/conversion to their size and both sizes they told me would fit were far too small) and store credit only? Honest mistake/issue, ridiculously inappropriate response on their part. Will never be shopping here again. Do not recommend.

Good produces, but poor return policy and very aggressive selling methods by the store manager as she know if you buy and not happy with the product , you allowed only to exchange. With no money refund on defected and not as describe items even after 12 hours from buying. I'm trying to support local. But would prefer buying from a place that I can return if item is not as expected.

Terrible customer service. The associate was very rude to me and my young son, I was there to purchase a gift and was told that the gift recipient would not be allowed to even exchange the product within the store. I have shopped here and recommended this store to many friends in the past and had only good experiences, with other associates being wonderful to deal with, but after today I cannot recommend this store.

Fluffy Bottom Babies is a great place for all of your cloth diapering and babywearing needs.
The owner, Ivy, is knowledgeable and super friendly. I have had multiple purchases both in-store and online and have had great experiences each time. The store carries a wide variety of baby and momma needs. Its a one stop shop!

LOVE fluffy bottom babies! It's our go to for baby products. Ivy is so easy going and helpful and we have never had an issue purchasing, returning or exchanging any products. We have tried several carriers on and will be purchasing a Tula in the future! I would highly recommend this store to any of my friends/family for their cloth diapering and baby wearing needs.
