Asked this place of business to repair my old Honda HS80 tracked blower. Pick up, basic repair and delivery took them nearly a month: did some basic carb work, replaced a few bolts and greased up the machine.
Looked good when it came back so I put it away until I needed it. It was delivered right by the spot where I ready it, so I shoved it over and put a cover on it until enough snow would appear to use it.
Yesterday after our big dump I go to start her up: can't pull the cord? Weird, how could it be seized? So I check the oil. Unscrew the cap and fuel gushes. Techs over there left the fuel

I did buy a 2016 Ducati Multi 1200s from this dealership. Good bike. A few things to watch. I had no PIN which you will need for the bike, no tool kit, Key FOB was under recall and was not dealt with. I was told, and I can provide the email, the excuse was they are not a Ducati dealership. You pay a premium to buy a bike from a dealership. If you trade this bike in expect no more than 3 to 4 K less. Expectation was this was dealt with. Yet, they will sale this bike. My buying experience was fantastic here! I seen an ATV I need for my son and we lived quite a distance away. I called and had everything organized from one of their reps. He took everything he needed over the phone and through email. Made a date for pickup and total took about ten minutes in the building! Helpful, professional, fast! Can't say enough good things about how exceptional service was!

I've been in this store for parts a bunch of times with decent service but never to the point of writing a review. If anything, when I called the service dept., I thought they were kind of rude or short. Again, not enough to write a review.
I was in last week looking for a damaged thread issue and Gary (I think that's his name) in parts was over the top nice and helpful. He went to the techs (a few times) and found me a fix that was inexpensive and very doable at home. He even called other stores looking for parts and in the end, had me out the door with a few pieces that fixed my issue very well

Highly positive experience. Brought my BMW R1200GSA for overdue servicing after Endras abruptly shut down in Ajax. Everyone was very attentive, professional and highly competent. The bike has never run better - thanks everyone. It was clear the techie took the time to assess the bike thoroughly, perform a high quality corrective action - it's clear everyone there loves motorcycles, treats the customer well, and knows what they're doing. A full detailed hand written service report is very appreicated upon completion. Please and kindly - just ditch the bar stools if possible for better chairs in

I brought my bike in to have the clutch bled. When I returned about a week later to pick it up they said it was ready and they would bring it up from storage which I guess is in the basement. I waited and waited until the service manager came out to talk with me. He said the bike was crashed bringing it up from the basement. They couldn't 100% find the reason why it crashed even though their mechanic test rode it after bleeding the clutch. They offered to fix it for free but it would take over a month to do so or take a payout that I would lose money on. A month was half the summer of riding

I purchased a used Yamaha FZ1 over the phone just as the US border closed due to the pandemic in March of 2020. As I live in NY across from Prescott Ontario, this was a definite problem. Ottawa Good Time Centre stored the bike for me until the border reopened for me in August 2021. Although the bike had been stored on a battery tender with stabilizer in the fuel, sales advised me the bike wasn't fueling perfectly when I arrived. I have been consistently returning to Ottawa Goodtime Centre for years. I have local alternatives, but they were not nearly as friendly, and client service oriented as the staff at Ottawa Goodtime. They answered all my questions and offered excellent advice tailored to my needs.
I recently purchased a new Kawasaki Vulcan S - the best motorcycle that I ever rode. This motorcycle is adjustable to the size of the rider, and the staff adjusted it perfectly to fit my needs. I've been having so much fun riding all summer that I neglected putting up my review.

I am very pleased with my late experience in buying a used bike at Ottawa Goodtime Centre. I went there to buy another bike I saw on their website, but even if I really wanted it, I saw that that bike was not for me. While I was still looking at it, my wife was looking at other bikes for me and she saw this 2016 BMW F800R and thought it was the one waiting for me.

I went in here today ready to purchase a motorcycle, of course my initial goal was to look, but I would of purchased one for the right price. The sales staff have more interest in having a conversation with each other than selling a new motorcycle. Terry McAuley only answered my questions and resumed his conversation with his co-worker, he showed no interest in making a sale and had no enthusiasm in working here. I will not be back at this location.

I contacted the Goodtime Centre today to get an estimate for some minor collision damage on my bike.
The email response I got indicated that they would need to book me an appointment to look at it, not fix it, and it would be about 3 weeks. Only after that would any work, materials etc, be planned and/or ordered.
I could drop of my bike, I was told, and they would look at it when they had time, but there was no guarantee of when that would be. Unfortunately, my bike is my primary mode of transportation in the summer, and I really didn't want to not have it for a few days or weeks until they had

Store is open by appointment but was able to get an opening on short notice. Good selection of gloves, found a pair I liked, good price, good service. Good COVID procedures - contact info list on entry, one-way path through store, was able to try some on, rejected gloves were set aside for sanitization. Overall good experience.

Bought a NEW phone mount 2 days ago, threw out the packaging which is a plastic bag clear sealed plastic bag that's not the original packaging and a paper that's not even instructions for how to put the mount on, it's a advertisement for other products. They told me I had 14 days to return it if I didn't like it as well. Tried it the next day and it didn't fit my phone, so I went back to return it and I even called ahead and the person who answered the phone said the manager said it would be okay if I returned it without

A parade of incompetence. Moved to Ottawa a year ago and have taken my BMW to Goodtime 3 times for service. They messed up every time. Every single damn time! I have heard it all - they diagnose a problem that they can't fix, they forget appointments, they forget to put all the parts back on your bike forcing you to drive 50km the next day to pick up the forgotten part, they make you order (and pay) for parts that are not needed, and the last draw was them telling me I am going blind and deaf and the warning lights and sounds are not real. And yes, I can go on. All to say, if you have a BMW

I hadn't been riding for a long, long time...went to Goodtimes and started talking to the sales staff on the used bikes. I had no idea what I wanted to get but, after talking to their sales rep Pat, he helped me decide on something simple to get going on for a season. A small little Ninja 250. I bought it and did layaway over the winter, picking it up in the Spring. Got the bike home and within a few days, the battery was dead. Took the battery out and brought it to them, letting them know what happened. That exact same day they replaced the battery with a brand new one, free of charge

Phoned on weekend to book a winter snowblower tune up, was told pickup would happen on coming Thursday. Followed up with a phone message with an alternate phone number for me, address confirmation and location of snowblower. When I got home from work on Thursday there had been no call or pickup, so I called to find status at 5 pm. Was told the pickup would happen by 6 pm, I confirmed I was on the list for pickup and waited. Pickup never happened and they closed at 6. I was never contacted about the missed appointment. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I then moved upstairs to buy new gear and was helped by a young man named Adam. He seemed to hate his job and gave me the impression he wanted to be doing anything but helping me. He at least stuck with me throughout the entire buying process, I'll give him that. I asked him to place the product on hold for me until the end of the day so I can make a decision on whether or not to buy the product. He said yes and put it aside

At the beginning of August I had the first service performed on my Street Triple. I left the bike with the OGTC for about 3 hours. After picking it up, while on my ride home I noticed a new scratch on the tank. The bike has a matte finish which shows everything, so I wanted to make sure it was actually a scratch before going back to the dealer. After getting home, I confirmed that it was a scratch in the clear coat (not the paint).
I called the OGTC and spoke with someone in service who asked that I come by so the service manager could have a look. I went back the next day, met with the service

Bad return policy- I've bought a lot of stuff there over a while and the last purchase I made was a 300$ Alpine jacket which seemed fine but was not comfortable when I got on my bike. I wore it for no longer than 5 minutes, but they wouldn't take it back.
I cut the "tags" (price and stuff) off, so it's no good anymore??
Unless you want to ride with the tags still attached to your clothes, you might not be able to return stuff. Now I'm stuck with a 300$ jacket sitting in my closet.
They lost me as a customer.

If you ever find yourself on Google searching for "motorcycle store Ottawa" you are sure to have Good Time Centre show up in the search results. This is hands down the largest, centrally located and polished motorcycle and gear store in Ottawa.
Being a show room everything is clean and fancy. The service as far as my experience (gear section only) has been great. The employees are polite and helpful and do not use pressure tactics.
