Enjoy the privacy of your room or sit outside on the covered deck overlooking the little hobby farm where the horses are out grazing. Take a walk down to the pond to feed the fish or join Judy down by the barn and feed the horse Emmy and the adorable miniature horse Mira-Bell a carrot. Across the road are endless trails for a morning hike and note the many species of birds that are native to our Island forests.

After enjoying your day touring the local attractions and islands activities, come back to your sanctuary and enjoy a glass of wine and watch for a resident deer to come out and graze in the yard with her fawn. You can occasionally catch a glimpse of a black bear known to cruise around the neighbourhood looking for apples.
