Located in the heart of Elmira Ontario; this quaint town bridal shop is known for exceptional customer service and in-house wedding dress alteration services. Taylor's Bridal is family owned and operated by husband and wife team, Linda and Ron Taylor.
Linda originally started her career almost 40 years ago, in her home doing bespoke bridal design. After building a reputation in the custom bridal world, Linda opened Taylor's Bridal Boutique in her home town. Since first opening Taylor's Bridal Boutique in 1997, it has now become a multi-generational business.

Services
What is a VIP consultation and how is it different from the usual bridal experience at Taylor's Bridal Boutique? In our private V.I.P appointments, you will have our gown room to yourself! In usual consultations, you are limited to 2 guests, but in our VIP consultations, you will be able to bring up to 4-6 guests with you, depending on which VIP package you choose.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this Bridal Boutique. Taylor's Bridal will always make sure you feel like the only client they're dealing with. I would highly recommend Taylor's Bridal Boutique to anyone looking for their perfect dress. After a horrible experience at another bridal salon the day before, Cindy, my consultant did an amazing job in helping me find the perfect dress. Within 30 seconds she knew what I was looking for and had pulled 12 different dresses for me to start with. As a plus size bride, most stores don't even carry 12 dresses in a size I could try on. This wasn't even a dent in the hundreds of dresses available at Taylor's!

OCTOBER 2021 UPDATE: After our wonderful October wedding, I had to come edit my review to provide pictures! Linda was INCREDIBLE throughout this whole process and navigating the late 2020, early 2021 lockdowns. Every time I came to Taylor's for a fitting, I just felt so at home. Linda's team made the most beautiful veil to match my wedding dress, and also even made a mask! When I picked up my dress the day before my wedding, both Linda and Cindy were there, which was so special. Ladies, I can't thank you enough for making me feel so beautiful on my special day <3

I had the most wonderful experience at Taylor’s yesterday. The ladies were so welcoming from the minute we walked in. Cindy was the sweetest consultant I could of ever asked for ! My experience here was over the top amazing!! I had Lynn as my consultant and she was phenomenal! From the moment I walked in and was handed a rose, to the moment I fell in-love with my dress, to the moment… the champagne bottle popped open so I can celebrate with my crew, every single thing was beyond great! When starting to look for gowns, I had heard of SOOO many people that went to Taylor's bridal and found their gown. I was almost turned off because I wanted a gown that was unique and different from everyone else, but after going there I see what the fuss was about!!
Their selection is amazing and I found my perfect, unique dress, which was a local designer. Linda and her team were super helpful in talking through alterations and how the dress would look by the day of the wedding. The alterations were exactly as she said they would be and we did quite a few things to the dress.

Cannot say enough positive things about Taylor's Bridal. From the second we walked in for our appointment, I felt so comfortable and at ease. Being a plus size tall bride, I have been used to things not fitting me properly my entire life, but Lynn went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience finding my dress, and pulling all the tricks out to make sure I could vision my dream dress. My Wedding Dress came from Taylor’s. I can’t express how amazing and friendly the staff are! From the first time into the store to my last fitting and take home, the staff have been wonderful! Taylor's was an absolutely wonderful experience. I went to a few places and by far the best experience was with Taylor's.
My consultant was wonderful and put me In a dress I would never have looked at and it ended up being the one!
Unlike most places they care about their dresses and as a result you have to remove your shoes and wipe your hands. But I can't tell you how much that puts my mind at ease when I'm trying on MY dress for fittings. I don't have to worry about anyone's mess ruining my dress.

Taylor's is hands down the best Bridal Boutique out there! I have known a number of brides who have gone there & found their dresses! The customer service is unbelievable & you leave feeling cared for.

After reading all the reviews about Taylor's, I decided to make the trek to Elmira. I brought my fiance with me and the associates were fairly surprised (they tend to encounter brides who go shopping with their all-female bridal party) but they were good natured about it. Dresses are in excellent condition and there is a huge selection.
Before touching the dresses, we had to wipe our hands with disposable baby wipes so we don't dirty up the dresses.

I think my dress is beautiful and I think Taylors has a beautiful selection of bridal gowns, however I bought it off the rack because the dress I fell in love with was my size and cheaper because it was off the rack...
The reason I rate 3 and not a 5 is because I have been to Taylors about 4 times, for my own dress shopping, hair piece shopping, mother of the bride shopping and bridesmaid dress shopping. When walking in I always felt like I was "snubbed" in a weird way, never was I recognized as a return customer, and until I told them I bought my wedding dress from them and was looking

First of all, Linda, the owner, is maybe the sweetest woman you will ever meet. I've bought both bridesmaid dresses through them when other friends have been married and of course been there for my own.
They tout themselves as one of the best boutiques in the country for customers service and will bend over backwards to live up to that. Really really they will, I couldn't be happier or more impressed with them, and have encountered hurdles that they easily helped me get over.
