We are a small team of experienced, passionate photographers specializing in commercial headshots, artistic portraits, weddings and events. Which really means we specialize in people - putting people at ease and capturing them at their expressive, authentic best. Everyone's story is different. That makes every project exciting and fresh for us.

We work with clients in Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas including Toronto and operate a beautiful, light-filled studio in Guelph. Over the past 20 years we've also taught inspiring photography workshops including an annual Photo Cuba trip to Santiago de Cuba! Trina Koster Photography was established in 1995 by fine art graduates Trina Koster and Scott Mooney.

I reached out to Trina back in the summer of 2020 to have some professional headshots taken at her studio. Fast forward a year and a half, and I am still extremely happy with the headshot I have been using on my business cards, social media, website, etc.
I had never had headshots taken, nor am I big fan of being in front of a camera, but Trina made the experience very relaxed and easygoing. Likewise, she had very clever ways of getting a smile out of me! After snapping a TON of photos, we sat down to go through them. If you’re looking for the best groups of photographers- look no further. I was on the market for a new headshot and came across Trina’s page. I needed my photos shot asap and despite how busy they were, they managed to sneak me in. I teamed up with Casey and had a 10/10 experience- she was able to make me laugh and knew all the tricks to get me smiling. The turn around was super quick- as I mentioned, I needed my photos asap and Casey was able to get them to me in less than 24 hours. Cheers!

Wow! I am so happy with my headshot photos. I was very nervous and felt completely out of my element before my appointment. As soon as I met Cassie I felt comfortable right away. Getting headshots done is completely out of my comfort zone. Trina and Casey both helped me to feel at ease immediately. While most of my time was spent with Trina who was so patient and amazing, I also had a mini session with Casey. She took extra time and care to make certain all of the small details were taken care of and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. If I could give them each ten stars I would!

I had the good fortune of spending three hours on a photo shoot with Trina and Casey today. I wanted to update my headshots and picked Trina Koster partly because of recommendations and partly because the quality of the website.
The experience exceeded anything I had expected. Trina and her team did out wedding photos. They are AMAZING! My husband and I are both photographers and we loved working with these wonderful women. They did a fantastic job! We had a fantastic experience with Trina and Noelle over the two days of our wedding. They create a comfortable and fun atmosphere even for people who (like us) don’t enjoy having their photo taken.
