For a quarter century, we've been striving to offer original custom tattoos to the Edmonton area community. Our artists are design specialists with diverse experience in varied artistic mediums and are experts in their chosen styles. Lifelong creative people, who have focused our professional lives on the art-form of tattooing.
My career pursuits are the Nordic, Celtic, Paleo-European and Tribal tattoo forms. I also enjoy bridging the gap into darker fantasy art and traditional spiritual themes. I also love floral tattooing in a variety of styles. My major sources of inspiration are found in ancient Indigenous cultures; North American Aboriginal, European Pagan and Pacific Islander art forms being particular favourites.

Worst tattoo experience I’ve had is, with Sean Tracy. He took a 210$ deposit for a drawing a year ago and never phoned back. Sent many voicemails, callbacks. Various emails. Only to get two emails in return, with a petty amount of progress. Also Sean is never in the shop. Gets very distracted in his own world. I would highly unrecommend.

Granted, this was a very long time ago, but I used to live in the area and stopped by to see about getting my first tattoo. As soon as I walked in, got immediate attitude. It was early in the afternoon and I had a barely one minute conversation with showing a reference picture. No deposit, no appointment booked, just told to come back the next day. When I did, in the afternoon again, they were closed.

I have had several tattoos done at Pagan Tattoo and get stopped regularly by people asking where they were done. This shop is clean and well maintained and provides lots to look at on the walls while you are sitting in the chair for hours. There are 3 talented artists to choose from depending on your style.
Mary Nielson is my choice. She is an amazing artist on and off skin. Her linework is crisp and her details and designs are beautiful!
She is easy to work with and is able to make changes on the fly. She is very knowledgeable and is honest about what will work and the best placement.

Marcy is the BEST! Not only is she a talented artist but she is also a really decent person who will listen to what you want and work with you. I recommend letting her guide your piece/come up with ideas because she is so imaginative and can create a piece that will look amazing while fitting with your body. She did a large back piece for me and I get so many compliments on it. She also touched up some of my older tattoos. Always a great experience!
