The very first time I went to see Dr. Houghton was in 2017 after hurting my back while shoveling. He was booked solid but squeezed me in as I was in tremendous pain. From that first visit until my most recent one this past week, I have always left feeling better. Dr. Richard won't have you come in just to make a buck. He'll give you a time line. I go every 3 weeks and my kids every 6 weeks. He is awesome with my kids. The office is always clean. The receptionists are very friendly. I highly recommend Function Health

Dr Houghton is the friendliness guy ever! He's always a joy to be around and makes the adjustments fun. Never thought I'd be laughing when someone squeezes and holds a sore muscle 😂
The staff are always incredibly friendly too.
I also see Monika, a massage therapist, and she is very friendly and energetic.
This is the best office I've ever been too!

I have always been very sceptical of chiropractors in general as well as acupuncture treatment. Recently I began having very strong back pain. After going to a good friend Melanie Veilleux’s appointment with her, even though it made her feel better, I was still sceptical. When the pain became too much to tolerate, I opted to make an appointment… with Dr. Daniel Pardo at Function Health on Lincoln St. in Welland. I am so glad I did. He has been treating me ever since and with every treatment I notice significant improvement. Daniel is very down to earth and knowledgeable. He takes precautions

I've been coming here for about 6 months now, and it has been a great adventure. The atmosphere inside Function Health is very clean, peaceful and professional. I've been seeing Dr. Pardo (chiropractor) and he'… s helped me out huge! I would recommend him, and I do, to anyone. I've also experienced massage therapy here and the rooms used are very tranquil and relaxing, and the massage was quite productive in the sense of going after problem areas. The building also offers many other selections of therapy. I recommend Function Health to anyone that's looking for some relief from ailments

I have been seeing Dr Pardo since before xmas I have damaged nerves in my hands shins and feet every time I go there is getting better at 68 yrs old I cant expect to feel like a 20 yr old. Dr Pardo is excellent… very pleasant honest and professional at 68 yrs old I still workout 5 times a week because of DR Pardo I have total confident Dr Pardo can reach another level with making my nerve problem better. Thank you Dan I recommend him to anyone.

Can't begin to thank Dr. Daniel Pardo - I went to see him after a crucial injury when I messed up my back at work. He listened to my problem, understood and gave me all the best tips that actually worked. In just 3 visits and treatment and doing regular exercises that he suggested... My back is finally fixed and I can say the services really worked! I paid $85 initially and 3 payments of $35 to get adjusted. I will continue to go! Highly recommended! Don't wait if you have pain, See a chiro before it is too late :)

Words cannot express my sincerest gratitude to Richard Houghton at Function Health. I’ve had both a herniated/bulging disc, and extreme rotator cuff issues. At 45 years old, I felt like I was 90. The pain was so bad I thought for sure I would need surgery. I don’t believe in surgery or pain pills (which only mask issues) so I was seeking… alternative treatment. I could only sit for 10 mins in a car without crying out in pain, and lifting my arm with something in my hand was impossible. Since Richards’s treatments, I have healed so much that I was able to drive straight
