Since 1992 Specs Appeal has been trusted with the eye care needs of its unique and charming surrounding community. Owner Ted LeClaire originally started the store on Snelling Ave, and in 1994 moved to the current location in an historic house on Grand Ave. Specs Appeal was the first independent optical boutique in the area.

Since then the shop has blossomed into a fun and familiar mainstay. Specs Appeal can be relied upon to deliver great styles with knowledgeable opticians. Sophie the gentle boxer greets and holds court as well, if customers don't need a new pair of eyewear or any adjustments they are just as likely to stop by to pet and visit with Sophie, the face of Specs Appeal!
