My 2 year old daughter was quoted $650 at the optician that we got her prescription. We were also unknowingly going to get a pair that wasn’t appropriate for her face or age.
I’m so thankful someone recommended Whitworth to us. Sandra took great care and shared so much knowledge with us that made both, me and my shy 2yo feel so comfortable and at ease. She even made getting the pupillary distance test a snap.
Not to mention my toddler’s glasses cost significantly less, at a reasonable $250.
Could not be happier with our experience.

We reorder my daughter's eye glasses because she has new prescription they charged as around $300 again so i guess it's past her warranty then when we received the new pair supposed to be but my daughter keep bumping on staff (she's only 4 then)and she doesn't want to wear it after over a month i said maybe we should have the glasses check again from a 3rd party the prescription of the doctor is right BUT THE LENSES IS NOT RIGHT!!! then after 2 months she replaced the lenses my husband requested her to check if it's according to the prescription before living the store the lady refuse to do so

This place is fantastic and Sandra is amazing. She is so knowledgeable and kind. We went to get glasses for our 3 year old and it was the best experience. Sandra clearly loves what she does and she excels at it. I would recommend Whitworth Opticians to anyone but especially to parents looking for glasses for kids. The selection is wonderful and the service is top notch.

I have been a client of Whitworth Opticians for 18 years. My daughter had an eye turn at age 1 and needed glasses as part of her 'cure'. We were sent to Whitworth Opticians, 'the best in the city' as far as dealing with more difficult cases, and even dealing with infants for glasses. I now have two children who have been under their care for almost 2 decades, as well as myself. Wouldn't consider ever going anywhere else. Customer service and expertise is solid. Especially if you need help with specialties as far as glasses and care, this is the place!

We have been going to Whitworth Opticians for about 10 years and have only good things to say about them. The are very accommodating, flexible and very understanding. They have always adjusted our frames no matter the situation. Whitworth Opticians have been in business for many years and we keep going back because of their service and how friendly they are. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an optician in Winnipeg or someone who specializes in eye-ware for infants.
