Services
Our origins were born out of a need to serve our community. In 1880, Bertie and Willoughby Mutual was formed by a group of farmers who were unable to find fire insurance at a reasonable cost. They got together to form their own insurance company. In 1898, Clinton Mutual was formed under similar circumstances.
BCM Insurance is a mutual insurance company. This means that we provide insurance coverage to you directly. You, as a policyholder, may be eligible to receive refunds from surplus at the end of our fiscal year. Your home is your castle! At BCM Insurance, we want to make sure you have it properly insured.
Insurance is getting more complex in today's environment. We have a team of knowledgeable and dedicated insurance professionals. As a team, we work together as a team to provide optimal insurance solutions to help our customers protect their lifestyles while delivering on that promise to protect when required.
Becoming a director of the Bertie and Clinton Mutual Insurance company(BCM) is a great way to give back to your community. While being a director can be a very rewarding position, it does require commitment in order to fulfill your duties. A director position should be considered multi-term. The Annual General Meeting(AGM) of BCM is usually held within the last two weeks of March each year.

Service has always been good and when our long time rep left, we were worried. Nancy Acaster has stepped in brilliantly adjusting and managing our account with the many changes that have transpired. I thought Tim was fast to respond but Nancy is a lightning bolt. Glad we have her!!
