I live close by so I come here often. They're always very professional, friendly and very accomodating. Tommy is always super friendly. always greet everyone with a big smile, very helpful and patient in explaining things when I have questions regarding the bed or packages. The place itself is very clean with top of the line tanning beds.

I only go for spray tans twice a year for two yearly special events and I always choose to go to Cocoa. The staff are always extremely friendly and very willing to walk me through the steps each time I go. They also provide all the equipment you need for a successful tan (hair net, feet stickies, lip balm, elastics, etc) which I really appreciate. I always go for the darkest (level 3) and am always happy with the results. A spray tan usually lasts me about 5-6 days depending on how many showers but it also fades off evenly and non-patchy. I tried another salon one time and completely regretted

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Cocoa Tanning is truly one of a kind tanning experience. The beds are awesome and since I have been going to Cocoa for a while now I can see that they upgrade their beds regularly. I definitely appreciate so much more now their level of cleanliness during these times. I didn't think twice about it before but now I can see how much they really care about their clients. The staff are very friendly and greet you when you walk-in as if they have known you for years. I would gladly recommend them to all my friends! 💕✔

Let me start off by saying that I have been a client at a handful of different tanning studios around the Vancouver area and Cocoa Tanning is by far the best tanning studio I have ever visited. The Yaletown location is placed perfectly to get there by Transit - excellent for someone who gets around by foot, like me! The Studio has always been immaculately clean. They have 2 different levels of tanning with both laydown and stand-up units, perfect for all tanners of any experience. Machines are always disinfected thoroughly. Don't go there!! The staff have no idea what they are doing. I went there for a tan and I explained to the girl that I tan regularly but I just do level 1 beds for minimal time. Accidentally she put me in to a high intense bed for the maximum amount of time. Luckily I got out before the end of the tan BUT I was still burned super bad.
When I spoke to another staff a week later. They explained all there staff is new. And that they had put me in the wrong bed by accident. So unprofessional!!

Don't go there!!!! I went for a spray tan session, listened carefully to the instructions (I'm a computer science engineer and successful serial entrepreneur) only to find out during the session that the girl had no idea what she was talking about. Wrong instructions and now I have no idea what I'm going to look like. Avoid if at all costs!!!! I'm never going back there.

I'm a fan of having a little bit of color on me. I find my body feels better too! I've had the opportunity to try a few different studios in the downtown area, and to be blunt -- Cocoa Tanning is THE best tanning option in Vancouver. Hands down.
Professional, courteous and kind staff make tanning extra special. They are educated and don't try to… push you in to something you don't need (or want).
The value is fair. They aren't the most expensive nor are they the least expensive, but from a value for what they deliver? As high end as they come...

Let me preface this review with the fact that the service is always fantastic here. The facilities are clean and well kept. The beds seem to be properly maintained. There is a reason why there is typically a wait. I rarely get sprays tans, but I was in need as I had a fitness photo shoot. I think it goes without saying that anyone that's familiar with the show Friends always fears the "Ross effect" when it comes to spray tans. No one wants to get out and exclaim "I'm an 8!" In horror. Cocoa Tanning is a beautiful facility with clean, contemporary decor and feels very bright and spacious. The rooms are finished well and I am a huge fan of their platinum stand-up! I think that's the one in Room #2. I've only used it once, though, as it broke down at some point inbetween my visits during the week. I hope it's up and running for my 3rd session!

After doing some research about tanning salons in Vancouver, I came across Cocoa tanning and ended up getting the Spray tan. I was always skeptical about spray tans because I was scared it wouldn't be even or that I would be orange, but I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Kerri did an amazing job explaining the tanning machine process and after care And she made me feel totally comfortable. My spray tan is so even and very natural looking. I have received many compliments and it is now 4 full days later and I still have a glowing golden tan. Will definately be a repeat customer

I just use the infared sauna here, but I love the salon in general. It's very bright, clean and spacious and the staff are all very friendly.
The sauna itself is quite small, what I would imagine a personal sauna for home would be like. However, despite its size, it works very well. It even has lights installed for "colour therapy". Not sure how effective this is, but it's nice to have when I'm reading a book or magazine.
I was fortunate enough to get a Groupon for the sauna, so I can't really comment on their prices, but the service and quality of the salon
