We have recently upgraded some of our equipment, and always re-lamp our equipment with the best quality tanning lamps, well before manufacturers suggested time limits. Our top of line unit equipped with 45 Turbo Power Lamp for the body & two high pressure 800 Watt facial lamps.
Sunless tanning is a fantastic alternative for anyone to have a realistic, natural looking tan, without being exposed to the sun. It's perfect for those who have issues with UV exposure, or it can be used in combination with UV tanning, for accelerated results. It's suitable for all skin types and recommended by dermatologists as a safe way to achieve a tan.
B. Brown Airbrushing is an esthetic service offered at Kix Tanning since 2003. We've gained a reputation for giving the most consistent, realistic UV- free tans, and proved ourselves, as experts in the field. In a private room, designed explicitly for the service, a professionally certified, female technician applies a naturopathic DHA solution (see details below) to your exposed skin, with an airbrush.
I have sensitive skin, how can I be assured I won't get a reaction from the sunless solutions? I used an aerosol spray and the calluses on my feet soaked in too much colour, how can I fix that? Tried to get more information in regards to how their point system worked. I called like five minutes ago asking about this and the different packages. The girl who answered seemed less than knowledgeable so I asked if I could have it emailed to me so I can see it first hand, since I wouldn't be able to come in right away and also I'm checking out other salons. She refused to email me any information and sounded bored with the conversation. Could have gained a repeat customer since I am going on vacation next month and the summer is coming up. Thanks for nothing

The staff here are friendly, educated on products and informative on the different equipment as well.
Prices are very reasonable, and they work on a "points" system in which you purchase a points package and you can use them on any equipment including beds, standups, red light machines, spray tans...etc. there is always a promotion going on, and the salon itself is very clean and the equipments are well maintained. The hours are great too, and I have never had to call and make an appointment and can usually get in right away.
They don't have a big selection of lotions, so if

My go to tanning salon. I don't tan on a regular basis, just during those months between winter and summer that are SUPER rainy. This place is a quick bus/drive from my house, staff are amazing and very friendly and their beds are all clean and well maintained. Prices are on the lower side which is great! Love them

I absolutely love Kix Tanning. I have been going there for a little over a year now and this salon is, by far, the best in Vancouver! They have the best hours, the best prices and a great selection of lotions. If they don't have the lotion you're looking for, they will special order it for you - great customer service! Every month they offer a special on points (think minutes) and/or tanning products. And the staff are great and always friendly... Taj and Alicia are the best! You need to check this place out!

This place is great- I have only done the sunless spray tan but it worked so well. After the spray tan application the employee will waive off the tan lines on your feet and hands and do a bottle spray tan on those areas. Tan came out great ad lasted a week!
I returned to do the spray tan the other week and their sunless tan machine was broken. The employee happily referred me to another salon with a spray tan booth down the road however was not nearly as good as Kix!

I have been a loyal customer of Kix Tanning for several years. They are, undoubtedly the top salon in the Lower Mainland. Their staff are not only friendly and personable but their services are amazing. In particular, the airbrush tanning is flawless. People always compliment my airbrush tan and think I've actually been on vacation. I drive several miles out of my own community for the simple fact that I get top quality services that can't be exceeded anywhere else. This is a first class operation, without question.

I went for the California autobronzer spray tan, had never done it before so was a bit apprehensive, but I had done a lot of research online and finally decided to go for it!
First of all, the staff were super nice, not too hyper-fake-nice but really attentive and down to earth. The guy who helped me (Dale?) was really great, he explained the whole thing to me really well and was patient and made sure I had no questions before he left. I liked the effect, went straight to the beach after and was the envy of all my girls :p When you look realllly close you can see that it's not totally seamless
