At Pickering Square Dental it is our mission to create a safe, warm and trusting environment. From the minute you arrive in our office you will feel completely at ease. To help you relax you can watch television, or listen to music while in the office. If at anytime during your treatment you have concerns, we encourage you to share them with us.
Dr. Lean has also developed an annual scholarship program for local high schools. Awards are given yearly to the student showing the most improvement and proceeding to postsecondary education. We have been supporting St. Mary's Separate School and Pine Ridge Secondary School Programmes since 2000. We are accepting new patients!
Dr. Lean and his Partner are the official Dentists and the Dental Consultants to the Toronto Maple Leafs. They have been providing dental care to the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey team since 2005. Dr. Lean and his Partner attend training camp every year providing assessments and mouth guards for the The Toronto Maple Leafs, Marlies and all Prospects.
Dr. Lean and his team enjoy giving back to the Durham community through their many involvements with local schools and community groups. Our dental office donates to numerous community and charitable events. We are pleased to encourage physical activity among our community's young people with our sponsorship of local clubs and teams, including:.

Came her for the first time recently and the receptionist was very kind and understanding. I did not have to wait long to see the Dr and the time from my call to being seen was about 40 minutes which is good for a place I've never been and late at night. I'll edit my review as I continue to come here more frequently but so far I am very pleased and actually looking forward to returning. (Written Dec 29th 2021)

I got to this dental place last summer on emergency case. My tooth was very sore and infected, the left side of my face was swollen . Dr. Lean took me right away and start working on my tooth and later on my entire mouth. I have the highest respect and gratitude to Dr. Lean, the only dentist in my entire life who make me feel comfortable sitting on the dentist chair.
Honestly I would recommend without hesitation this dental place and entire team working there.

I’m normally apprehensive about certain dental procedures because of my extreme tooth sensitivity. I was very surprised how comfortable and painless the same procedures are with Dr. Lean. Truly one of a kind. I also had a visit with his associate dentist who was great as-well. Would recommend this clinic to friends and family.

Marvin Lean is the best Dentist I have ever been to, his dental work is perfection and his needles are painless (I swear I don’t feel a thing, actually I don’t feel anything for the whole procedure which is quite amazing). The whole staff at Pickering Square Dental especially Leanne is fantastic.
Marvin always makes me feel comfortable by telling me to raise my left hand if I’m having any discomfort, and he’s extremely knowledgeable and honest. He has also worked with the Maple Leafs, if I may add.
Hands down one of the best Dentist in Ontario if not Canada. Thanks for another painless

Horrible Customer Service
This is not my regular dentist office I went here as an emergency as I was in the area and had a badly infected tooth. I called ahead to make sure that they would take the insurance payment through my school as it was covered and I did not have cash that day, I did my due diligence to make sure payment via insurance was not an issue and I was told yes over the phone and proceeded to go in. I asked again when I got there and was told a second time it was fine. I saw the dentist, he was very personable, not an issue. After being written a prescription I went back to the

Dr. Lean is easily the best dentist I've gone to. Most others I've visited can never get the freezing right in order to eliminate pain correctly. However, Dr Lean is flawless. He is constantly aware and paying attention to how I feel in the chair which is very important to me. I highly recommend Dr. Lean if you are looking for a dentist.
