We have been operating in Port Coquitlam since 2007, and offer classes in Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Our family has been with Fremont Martial Arts for 3 years; I have children in both the Tae Kwon Do and Jiu Jitsu programs. During that time, we have seen growth in our children on and off the mats; self confidence has increased, skills have improved, and a sense of pride in their work has developed.

Fremont Martial Arts has been an amazing experience for us and our daughter. We had a bad experience from a different Martial Arts school, so trying to find one that was NOT a glorified after school daycare was a bit hard. We were looking for a place that didn't give out colored belts like candy, and wasn't a place where my daughter would just run around with hands/feet flailing aimlessly without proper instruction.
After looking through Sensei Kevin's website, my wife and I decided to just take a chance and sit through a class.
When you go into the dojo, you will notice 2 things:

I had my 6 year old son in another martial arts centre in Port Coquitlam until about 3 months ago when we moved to Yuen's. This was such a good decision I regret not making it earlier. Mr. Kevin is AWESOME with the children. Patient, fair, disciplined. Yuen's is everything I had hoped for in a martial arts experience!! Highly recommend this centre!
