The Funeral Home history in Odessa dates back to 1860 when John Jones founded the Jones Funeral Home. Records show that the business was operated as Watts and Jones. The Watts business was known for its craftsmanship on carriages, coffins and furniture. The business was later run by John's son, George Jones and then by his grandson, Ross A. Jones.

Jason is a kind and compassionate professional who handled the funeral details with infinite care and grace. He provided assistance with government paper work and recommended an excellent florist and monument company. His contract and prices are fair given how he goes above and beyond the call of duty. I genuinely appreciated his guidance and assistance as I have never had to plan a funeral before.

Jason was so kind, caring, and gentle throughout the whole process. He explained everything we needed to know well in detail. We never felt rushed and felt all of our questions were answered. Jason's communications with us were always clear and prompt. Thank you Jason for providing a comfortable atmosphere for my mom and I to plan and attend my grandmother's funeral. We greatly appreciate it.

Jason is kind, compassionate and extremely organized. He never rushed me and I felt at ease with him. Jason took care of everything when my Mom passed and made the process seamless. He was readily available to speak, responded quickly to my emails, arranged all of the details efficiently and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You are a blessing Jason and I’m so happy we had you as our guide through this process.

When my mom passed away, my Dad and I had no idea where to begin. We called Paul G. Payne Funeral Home and spoke with Jason, the owner and funeral director. He was extremely sympathetic, and was able to meet with us that same day. Jason was incredibly sincere, kind, compassionate, and he treated us with respect and care at such a difficult time. He listened intently with compassion and handled all the details for us with dignity and grace.
I can not thank Jason enough for giving us the time, respect and support that we needed, I feel he went over and above what we had ever expected. From start
