I have never had a bad experience at Wax Bar in the two years that I have been coming there but my appt yesterday with Madeline was fantastic! She is professional and friendly and, even after a break of 2+ months for the “quarantine” she got things cleaned up quickly and completely.
I felt that all the measures taken to avoid the spread of Covid were great and I felt very safe.
Thanks again for being the best place to come for all the services that you offer!

Too high priced but the girls are nice! If you're looking to get your teeth whitened there just do not expect a drastic change in brighter and whiter teeth! It's not like going to the dentist where it's one service and you're done.. I have been 2x and still would like to go 1 more time to see if I get that brightness I really want.. fingers crossed 3rd times a charm.. and no my teeth were not crazy stained just the norm!

Valentina was amazing! She made me feel extremely comfortable and talked me through the process of the services. I would definitely recommend using her again. The receptionist was also very friendly and personable. Their credit card machine wasn't connecting when I was in. She was flexible and allowed me to grab cash and come back to provide payment. Overall it was a great experience.

BEST WAX SERVICE EVER! The staff was so friendly the facility was very clean and the manager Megan was so helpful with explaining the types of wax. I have verrrrrrryyy sensitive skin so I’m extra particular about skin services! THEY WILL NOT DISSAPOINT. Not to mention I was going to chippendales that night so everything needed to silky smooth - just in case💁🏼‍♀️!

This was my first time getting a Brazilian wax and they made me feel very comfortable. The pain was minimal, the wax wasn’t burning, and I was recommended after care. I can’t wait to go back and see how great the results are!! Will definitely try other services here

I love this salon - it is my go-to for facials! The aestheticians are fantastic and they use Eminence products which I love! Friendly, attentive service too. They also have a generous loyalty program and you earn treat points with every service booked- on my last visit I got treated to a full size Eminence body oil which was a huge surprise! Highly recommend.

I’ve seen Laya several times for different services. She’s is absolutely wonderful, very professional and always makes me feel comfortable. I’ve been getting my eyebrows done for 20 years and she seriously does them better than anyone else ever has!
I’ve seen a few other Waxperts here as well and I’ve always gotten the best service and care, especially when waxing more sensitive areas. The staff here is always friendly and the facility is very clean and well maintained.
I’d highly recommend this place. No matter who takes care of you, you will be in good hands!

As always I'm pleased with the friendly faces and family treatment during my appointment. I was there as a model for a trainee and she was very kind and professional. It had been a while since my last appointment and the pain level was pretty high. She took good care of me and Karla gave great advise to her as she was performing the procedure. I tried Wax after seeing that they did waxing on men and I wanted to go to a place I was comfortable with. The whole process from booking the appointment to getting the treatment was pleasant. Their website is excellent; the sit tells you the price of the service and lets you schedule an appointment online - very convenient. I was greeted by a pleasant lady who was personable and paid attention to detail, to make sure no hair was left behind. I wish I had gotten her name to praise her work, but I am going to hope all the employees are as great as her and that when I go back, I'll still get

I tried WAX after purchasing a groupon for a Brazilian wax.

I was a tad bit apprehensive. But, my waxpert, Aysha, was a bubbly brunette who kept my thoughts off the pain and on some interesting conversations and the movie playing on the wall.

There was no double dipping, a lot less pain than I expected, and it was over pretty quick. And, the waxpert came out to talk me through some aftercare following the procedure.

The only reason I didn't give this review a five was because there were a few stray hairs left behind that I noticed after I got home.

I wanted to like this place. I really did.

I purchased a 3 wax pack (though Groupon) and hoped for the best.

While the receptionists and the waxers themselves were a fantastic bunch of ladies, the actual 'finished product' was absolutely NOT.

FIRST: Would it kill ya to provide a pair of paper panties for a bit more discretion/comfort?

SECOND: I'd end up leaving with 'missed spots'. Annoying.

THIRD: Even worse yet, I'd leave with the odd burn patch from extremely hot wax (and ladies, we know that the last place you want to have ANY sort of burning/peeling

I went to the 16th Street location on a Groupon and I was pleasantly surprised by the "wax pert" (Mindy) that I had. She was honest and educational about my previous waxes, why I had trouble with ingrown hair and pain in the past -bad wax jobs. If she hadn't left my review would be much different.
After having a Brazilian by my wax-pert the manager offered a free session of eye services (eyebrow wax and tint) to help train new staff. She assured me that she would be present and the service wouldn't be less than what I had received by my fabulous "wax-pert". I agreed

I visited Wax Hair Removal Bar after purchasing a Groupon (a Brazilian for $19.. HELLO!) and reading their reviews on Yelp (check out the TONS of good reviews that are under filtered too...).

They were able to make an appointment for me for the day I wanted, which as other Grouponers know, is the most common complaint with Groupons (not being able to get in).

I visited last night and had Sashalina do my waxing. The receptionist was very friendly and had me fill out a form and I wask taken in right away. Sashalina was super friendly, I just got a great energy from her. And, my waxing only

Wax Hair removal bar is the economy version of waxing. They do a fine job, and the place is ok. I have been here at least three times.

The bathroom and rooms are always somewhat dirty, but in this town, you get what you pay for where waxing is concerned--which is never cheap, no matter how you look at it.

The "waxers" are nice, but whenever I come home, I find tons of "strays." They just don't quite get it, and they always seem to be happy yet somewhat bored with what they are doing. (This applies to both the estheticians and the strays. lol).

Luba and her team are true professionals from the time you walk in the front door to the time you leave. The service I received from Wax was excellent. I'm new to these types of services and have to admit was a little nervous at first, but very quickly they put me at ease (no easy task, that's for sure).

If you are a man or woman and in need of work from an esthetician, then I recommend searching no further and make an appointment to see the crew at Wax!
