East Lake is committed to the health and safety of all employees, contractors, clients, and the public. The ultimate goal of our health and safety policy is to have an incident free environment and protection from loss. All employees of East Lake are responsible for ensuring that the safety program is continually updated and maintained.
East Lake utilizes Solidworks Software to produce 3D models of many of the products we manufacture. Software modeling allows for rapid prototype development with less rework, and increases the accuracy and repeatability of the manufacturing process. Integrating the 3D CAD design with our CNC automated processing and forming equipment ensures high quality accurate parts from the first prototype to the final product.
At East Lake we specialize in the challenges of short run manufacturing and fabrication. Our facility is equipped with the design expertise, raw materials, fabrication equipment and finishing process to take your product from concept design to completion. We pride ourselves in our ability to collaborate with our customers on your product needs, and develop innovative and practical fabrication solutions.
East Lake is pleased to offer fabricated pipe supports to the Alberta marketplace. Starting with your detail drawing we produce a 3-D CAD model to ensure tight tolerance to the specification. Highly accurate and repeatable parts are then cut and formed from our fleet of modern CNC equipment. All welding is performed by our CWB certified team per CWB 47.1/W59 procedures.
Fabrication using aluminum and stainless steel requires specialty equipment and skilled operators. East Lake is fully equipped with the tools and expertise to take on your project. For processing we have a 5 x 10 foot 10HP CNC Router for aluminum sheet, aluminum composite (ACM) and extrusion processing.

This business does not stand behind their work.
I took an appliance dolly here to weld a broken handle back on.
(Jan 13, 2021 / Invoice number 11887) Was told no problem.
The first time it was used the handle snapped clean off, causing a refrigerator to fall back onto my buddy. When I explained this to Andrew the shop manager he said, and I quote, "I don't really care about that." Then the excuses started, hard to weld old aluminium, maybe it's an alloy that isn't compatable with what we are welding with. Should this not have been mentioned the first time if it is true?
No offer of a refund

I used to get all our powder coating done here for our business, however the last 2 times the price has jumped... not by a little bit but by over double in price, I couldn’t justify the cost when it comes to not being done for 2 weeks or more. I dropped off parts yesterday, got a ridiculous quote and picked up my parts this morning.
They have lost my business and I won’t be telling anyone to go get powder coating done here. I also have had friends go here or the welding shop in the past and have gotten outrageous quotes.
You had a very loyal customer, that you unfortunately lost.

We approached East Lake Welding with a ski chair bench project with no idea what to expect. We had them take our old ski chair to repair some broken slats, fabricate the base and grip and then finish by powder coating. We were very impressed with all the staff from our first consultation at the shop. Andrew was absolutely amazing!! He was professional with great communication and patient with us throughout the process. The turnaround time was ridiculously fast and we were extremely happy with the final project. We have nothing to compare this to but feel the cost was very fair for the work they

Took a project in for powder coating, as I was given a better quote than several other shops. I was told 7-10 days for completion. After 10 days I called, and was given an excuse as to why they hadn't started yet, but would get to it right away. After 10 days, called again, different excuse this time, hadn't started yet, they'll get to it right away. This went on for 2 months before I had enough and picked up my now completely rusty project. Don't waste your time with this place.
