Alterations and repairs to leather and suede garments. We also replace zippers, repair holes and tears, replace snaps, re-line jackets and shorten sleeves. We sew patches, crests and logos onto garments and sew reflective striping (regular and fire retardant) onto jackets, coveralls, overalls, shirts and pants.

Got totally different messages from calling and chatting! Over the phone I was told that shortening and tapering would cost me over 100 dollars and I definitely felt I was being used and manipulated in a creepy way, but in the chat I was told it's gonna be around 60!
Didn't feel trust worthy and I used Henry's instead!

So disappointed! I took some clothes here to be altered several months ago. I dealt with a gentleman who was very nice, and did a wonderful job on the clothes. I went in again yesterday afternoon, was greeted by a woman who was SCOWLING at me as soon as I walked through the door. I showed her what I was looking to get done, and she rudely informed me she couldn't do it. I took my clothes and left. I went to another tailoring shop close by, and they were able to get done what I needed very easily. Unfortunately, with such a negative experience the second time around, I won't be back.

I live in the North East of Calgary. It was Sunday and I wanted to fix my suit and to dry clean my winter coat because I had a business interview the next day. I did not have an appointment from Dave, I just walked in. Even though I did not expect him to do the tailoring, he welcomed me and made the job in short time with a cheerful smile and professional conversation. I thought he might charge me a lot but at the end he asked for a fair price.

For anyone that wants to let out the waistband a 'little' on their favourite jeans, I found the perfect solution. (By the way, this idea is great for little kids that have a hard time buttoning their jeans). Just take the jeans (or any pants) to Dave, and he will remove that annoying metal snap fastener in minutes. Sure, it leaves a tiny hole after that fastener is gone but it can be easily fixed. Because I have a sewing machine, I simply sew on a couple of matching velcro strips where the button was, to do up the jeans, and that works really well for me. If you don't sew, I

I ordered a dress online and it ended up being a size too small. I couldn't do up the side zipper as my body was too big for the dress. Dave was a miracle worker and altered the dress to make the sides bigger, which saved me hundreds of dollars from buying a whole new dress. 👗 Thank you for your meticulous work! 😃 You beyond exceeded my expectations!

Not happy with the tailoring at all. First, it took a week longer than promised to get suits back. Then they suit linings hadn't been sewn back together in all the sleeves. The sleeve cuffs were cut unevenly. The lining at the top inside of the pants wasn't sewn together properly and the pant legs were too short. On top of that, it was all VERY expensive. I asked for a discount based on the horrible timeframe and results, and they refused. I wouldn't recommend this place

I've had the pleasure of being served by Dave three times now; I took in a suit I'd ordered online for him to work his magic on the hip area of the jacket. He was able to salvage the jacket and make the fit as good as it could be.
Based on that experience, I took six other off-the-rack suits that needed some major work (I lost a lot of weight in the past year) to Dave, and he was able to update the silhouette, tighten up the waistline, and get the pants to drape well.
