Services
We can accommodate up to 44 golfers (11x4somes) plus others who may want to join in on the fun but not golf. Scramble is a popular choice if there are non-golfers or casual novice golfers in the group. For larger groups, choose your own caterer and deal directly with them for menu choices and prices.
Practice / warm up: Before you play your round, you can loosen up on the practice range. Hit some different irons and drives; practice approach shots on our short game range, and even take a few practice putts. You should find that your distances on the simulator are very close to what you do outdoors.
For our 25th anniversary, we added new lounge furniture to enhance our pub like atmosphere that includes a large screen TV over the fireplace. It is called our Trophy Lounge because the walls are adorned with over 25 magnificent trophies won by Ottawa Valley Golf Association amateur golfers, with some dating back to 1922.
We reserve time for you based on the number of players. It is important that you advise us of any change in the number of players reserved with 24 hours notice. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 hours, please call 613-226-7058 to follow up. For same day or last minute tee time bookings, please call us at 613-226-7058 instead of reserving online.
They can be used for playing rounds of golf, practice sessions, PGA lessons, and food & beverages. When you submit your email address to Golf O Max, it is added to a data file from which we send periodic promotional newsletters. First time out this evening and we were impressed! April snow fall on golf night turned in to a great golf round, indoors, with impressive technology. We had a 15 minute orientation to begin with, then our instructor stuck around to help us with some more tips - very helpful. The personnel were very attentive - moderately busy. We really appreciated the technology and detailed feedback. Will return.

What can I say about this place? If you don't want to walk 18 holes and you're super lazy and you want to drink a bunch of beers with your buddies (or whomever) and pound some golf balls against a screen, which is pretty cool, then come here. It's very realistic and a hell of a lot of fun. The atmosphere is great and the staff is super nice.

First, let me just say that I hate golf. And I ain't too fond of golfers either. But, there are other, less-pleasant ways to waste an afternoon. Golf in this part of the world is not so easy, what with the weather being just this side of hellish for most of the year. If you love golf and can't wait for those few weeks in the summer when the weather is just right, you can always head to Golf-o-Max on Merivale. Located in the same complex as Loblaws, the virtual golf establishment is big enough to fit multiple groups of fake golfers.
