CVR Community Group Report

Raised in Victoria, Laura has always loved the island, but hasn't always loved running. At the ripe old age of 17, Laura thought her running ship had sailed. It was too late for her. She would never run. Nope. Not ever. Instead, she volunteered for her high school's cross-country and track and field teams as a manager.

Running Crew Report

Due to the restrictions on social gatherings, the Cowichan Valley Running Crew is currently on hiatus. We will resume our free group runs when it is safe to do so. I was looking in the general direction of the Cowichan Valley Running store, and I saw this Moonscape. The moon was setting rapidly, and I came close to missing the shot.
Good job I wasn’t running at the time.
I wonder if runners miss things because they run? Can someone tell me?

Laura spent as much time with me as I needed to get the perfect shoe for me. She is very knowledgeable in running and shoes. When I had a problem with wear in the shoe afterwards she looked after the warranty and I know have a replacement of a pair of new shoes. I would suggest that a visit to her store is worth the trip to Mill Bay.

I bought a great waterproof pair of On running shoes and they have been the best pair I have ever owned. I typically experience knee pain when running but this pair of shoes makes a huge difference!
