You can eat your catch from the beautiful waters of Georgian Bay. The quality of fishing is rivaled only by the scenic beauty offered by Georgian Bay. Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow, Lake Trout, Brown Trout and Skamania offer great fishing all year round. Thanks largely to the efforts of the Sydenham Sportsmen's Association, Owen Sound has become "Ontario's Top Fishing Hole."

Was a great stay, just sorry I only could stay one night. Very clean room the most important part to me. And I didn't have to ask for extra pillows!! Every thing was great, right from the first phone call to book a room to being greeted by Boomer the puppy at arrival and a great nights sleep. Felt more like coming to a friends house not a motel. Great stay for a good price. Planning to come back in summer. Highly recommend it.

On the suggestion of a friend I decided to give them a try, as I travel for work....
When checked in the owner ( and he's very friendly dog boomer) greeted me... He told me a out the rooms and even suggested a couple upgraded rooms they had..... Well I took just the basic room but l tell ya it was a very nice room clean modern and very cozy...
It for sure the best place I've stayed in Owen sound and will for sure be back again!!

Last minute check in coz the motel down the street call diamond motel's owner misbehaved with my family. The Inn On 6th is absolutely fantastic. Reasonably priced, nice beds, very good housekeeping. Overall i would say the best inn in owen sound(i have stayed in 3)

Great place. Called to ask for a room really late. Got a room, very clean and at $60 less than Travelodge. Had to leave early and forgot my grooming aids. I called and asked if found. They did and mailed it to me that same day. They really go out of their way to take care of you.

Not happy. Room is way smaller than advertised on the internet.
False advertising says shuffleboard but isn't any. One court that is cracked with all the picnic tables on it .
Carpets were soaken wet when we arrived. Got all our bags wet on the bottom before we realized.
Would never come back.

The owner of the motel was extremely helpful and nice. Got us in last minute! The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Good price too! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to crash for the night. I did not try the pool, but there were always people in it. Along with a fire pit and a bbq. 10/10, would stay again.

We've stayed here many times. Always clean and well looked after. This time we rented the new "cabana" room. AWESOME! You can't beat the value, comfort or cleanliness of this place! Best motel in Owen Sound.

When you show up at this hotel you better wear your suit and tie. We had a room reserved for my father who had taken a cab to Owen sound to work on a roofing job and showed up in his work clothes was turned away because apparently he looked homeless. When I told him I was going to write a bad review for his stereotypical and discriminatory… behaviour he threatened to charge my credit card anyways which is completely fraud. Everyone has the right to leave whatever review they want buddy so good luck. In my eyes anyone should be able to stay at a hotel no matter what they look like or drive

28 years of work travel from coast to coast in Canada and this place takes first place by far. The amenities are endless with a relaxing atmosphere. Already planning a getaway trip with the wife to return here. Well done Inn on 6th!! This place Rocks

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for many years. This location is close to the trail, with amenities close by. Lots of parking for sled trailers. Our room was just recently updated and was absolutely beautiful. Inn on the 6th also has a hot tub and sauna , perfect for those long days after riding on the snowmobile trails. I would recommend this location to any one as the rooms are always clean and the staff are very friendly. Price is great. We will be back again.
