Shoe Doctor Quality Shoe Repair is one of the original standing businesses in Fairview Park Mall and under this branding, was founded in 1997 by master shoe cobbler, Sam. Sam is a third generation cobbler, and has won numerous accolades in the shoe repair community, including the coveted International Golden Hammer award (4X winner).

I went to Shoe Doctor to have my Uggs boots sole repaired. I got a call the next day saying it is done and ready for pick. Amazing service, very professional and most of all the quality of the job is great. I would never go to another shoe repair shop. Now my feet are going to be toasty again.

Will never have to buy a new pair of boots again as long as shoe doctor is operating. Brought my vintage boots in thinking I was going to get turned away from the condition they were in. when I picked them up I swore he had just gone and bought a pair and swapped them hoping I wouldn’t notice. Almost unrecognizable as they look brand new. Put them on and was amazed at how much comfier they had become. I will definitely be recommending shoe doctor to anyone before recommending a shoe store.

I went in with a difficult task: reduce the height of a pair of fine leather men’s field boots (basically riding boots). I have the equivalent of corgi legs. Sam took off two inches, lowered the top buckle, and they look amazing. Like they were made that way. He’s an award winning cobbler for a reason!

It was recommended that I see Sam at Shoe Doctor for my problem.
I Broke a button on my brand new Oktoberfest Lederhosen.
Without this button. My pants will fall down. They did as I got home.
Sam fixed my problem right away. The job is perfect.
He does excellent invisible repair work.
Now I can Oktoberfest again.

Amazing experience!
My favourite leather backpack that I had bought during my travels and couldn’t replace was falling apart in a couple different places. I brought it in and Sam found a couple other places that clearly needed repair that I hadn’t even noticed yet!
Everything was all fixed up beautifully in 30 minutes at a great price! Sam was really helpful and friendly. I greatly appreciate the work he did to fix my favourite bag.
