We have been shopping for most of our meats for the past 30 years or more, but the quality of the meat and service has gone downhill badly over the past couple of years. You can get ground beef at other places for a much cheaper price. The last 2 or 3 times we have gotten pork ribs there, and had them cut for either bbq or sweet sour, they have been very poorly cut and we are throwing out 30% as they were inedible they way they were cut-a lot of fat and gristle. We will be looking to get ribs elsewhere, probably at a cheaper price as well.

Poor cashier making a mistake, used my 100 gift card to pay for 110 meat pack, I'll pay with cash for the difference I tell the cashier, just ignores me and charges me 90 on the gift card, that's how they get you I wondered but it was sorted out and I used up the whole gift card and paid the extra 10 bucks instead of having it on the gift card. I don't want to go back there with a 10 on a gift card. Cashier was whispering to head cashier in front of me, so I spoke out and stated she made an error and need it taken care of and she did. Went to the location in Freshco on Regent Avenue to pick up some outside round steak on sale at both Logan Avenue and express locations. Sale price advertised was $4.99lb/$11.00kg. Was overcharged at $12.10kg. Worker tried telling me the machine was broken that was why he had to print the tag on another scale. I stepped to the side and did the… math - nope definitely overcharged. He said I would have to wait for someone else to help. Did he move to get this someone. You guessed it - NO. I just pick up meat pack #8 and the hotdogs are our compliment hotdogs. The hamburger patties are grey and white with frost bite they do not look edible. My chicken has so much frost on it i dont know what weighs more the ice or the chicken. Same can be said about the pork chops! The smokies are covered in frost i cannot see what their actual… colour is. I haven’t even unwrapped the remaining meat as I’m afraid it will also be in the same state as the meat packaged in clear plastic. I’m very upset at the quality of the products i paid $139.99 for! This is the worst experience

First time ordering meats. We got the meat package number 5. We were a little shocked at what seemed very little meat. Well we were deceived, in a good way. Lots of meat and so far, very tasty! We have tried the pork and the chicken, absolutely amazing cuts.

It has been a couple of weeks since I placed our pickup order and it went perfectly! Amazing staff to talk to, excellent customer service, and a very smooth process for pickup. We got exactly what we wanted and were only charged final billing amount (some places bill a pending amount) Absolutely going to place another order!

Unreal. Had a minor dispute about the billing. Had been passed along to several people until the owner got on the line. He was incredibly rude. Did not let me finish my first sentence, told me to "F&@K Off" and hung up!
I am a pretty old guy and this is the first negative review I have ever posted but it was the worst customer experience I have ever had in my life. Felt I should try and save someone else from having to deal with this business.

Bought a meat pack as advertised this month. Seniors get free delivery.
First I was charged for delivery when they clearly knew I am a senior.
Second the meat in packages where not what was labled. A pork chop is a pork chop not a huge big fatty piece of butt steak.
The ground beef was rotten. You could smell it before starting to cook.
Very unsatisfied with order. Waste of 93.24.
Calling to complain gets you put on hold and no one ever answers.
NO STARS.

Terrible service. Can’t get ahold of anyone and I was supposed to get 10 percent off my meat order by ordering on a Friday which was disregarded. Tried calling today and was on hold so long, I was cut off. The… picture is of ground beef which fell out of the bag in open condition. I know times are tough but, can’t basic service standards be upheld?
