James Stafford, Inc. Chartered Professional Accountants was founded in and has close ties with Vancouver, British Columbia. The ancestors of the Firm's original founder built and lived in a house located on the present day McCleery Golf Course near the Kerrisdale area of Vancouver.
Descendants have been actively involved in Vancouver business life ever since, including Mr. Stanley James who was a public accountant with Holmon, James & Company in the 1890s, one of the first businesses in Vancouver.Mr. Stanley James was also the auditor of the City of Vancouver from 1894 to 1903.

I found Art to be incredibly unprofessional and I would not recommend using his services. He filed my taxes and informed me what I owed. All I had to do was sign the papers. Within the hour he sent me an email saying “find someone else to do your taxes.” When I asked for and explanation, his response was that “I wasn't happy with the amount I owed.” I can’t understand why that’s a reason not to file my taxes. No person is happy with paying taxes but it’s a legal obligation I abide by. Even prior to this, when I asked him if there was anything I had missed, that I can claim under business

Tried to file my taxes with Art and he couldn't answer a single question I had about best practices for filling out a T2200. When I asked him how to claim certain things compared to one of my coworkers he replied with a two word email "Go Away."
