As many of you are aware, there have been increasing challenges over the past several years resulting from the addition of pickleball lines on tennis courts. It is now mandatory for everyone that is a coach or in a position of authority at a tennis club to have completed the Safe Sport Screening and Education.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this camp. My son didn't find the teacher supportive and felt there wasn't a lot of actual tennis being played. He found it boring and yet his confidence was affected. My sense is that he could have used a bit more encouragement and engagement.
I pulled him after the first couple of days and had hoped the camp might write me back to debrief about what happened. However, they didn't respond to my email.
This was the first camp that my 9 year old hasn't liked and we do multiple camps every summer.
Having said that, it's in a beautiful location

Tennis BC has been a breath of fresh air at the Stanley Park tennis courts. Not only are they welcoming, but their court booking system makes it easy and accessible to secure a court. The group lessons they offer are affordable and instructors are engaging, fun and knowledgeable. I am thankful for their management of the 6 courts at Stanley Park, as they maintain them well and offer a transparent online booking system that is available to everyone. Props to Tennis BC for their great work!

It says its not for profit but Tennis BC is canabolizing all the existing public tennis courts in BC and making them only available for those who can afford expensive coaching.
Every evening, every lower court at stanley park is now unavailable for use or even booking - unless you want to hire one of their coaches from their expensive certification program
