A t Image Auto Body, we are committed to returning your vehicle to its pre-accident condition or better. A preferred shop for many major insurance companies, we handle numerous insurance claims. However, we also handle customer pay claims as well, where the client wishes to bypass the insurance company and just pay us direct.
The first thing is to contact your insurance company to report the accident so that they can provide you with a claim number, as well as an insurance adjuster who will help work you through the process. You can download an Auto Collision Worksheet, which has all the relevant details the insurance company needs.
A customer pay repair puts you in control of your repairs. At Image Auto Body, you don't need to go through an insurance provider if you don't want to. We will advise you on which option we think is best. It is always your choice! The first thing to do is schedule an appointment with us to discover how much the repairs cost.
First we collect all your pertinent information, such as name, claim number, address, phone number, and other contact information. Our estimator then goes over the accident with you and what repairs are needed. This is followed by a thorough vehicle examination (including photos), resulting in a preliminary estimate based on the damages found.
Exchange information with the other people involved in the accident. This information includes names, address, phone numbers, insurance company and broker information, policy number, driver's license number, and license plate number. If you didn't file a report with the police at the scene, then go down to your local police station and file the report there.
