Stayed for a night in Sept. of 2021. The motel is in a lovely area just off the the highway with a nice view of Kelly's Mountain as the name implies. It has been there for as long as I can remember so it is an older venue. We had a very clean and comfortable room. Beds were clean, bathroom clean, towels/linens clean. Lovely scented green tea soap. Bed was firm but comfortable. The room had a microwave and mini-fridge that looked to have never been used they were that clean! There were also extra blanket and a pillow along with some local info. This place was not only an incredible bargain, but was spotless and Audrey, the 10 year owner could not have been more helpful. I prefer these small family owned places and called them direct to book and knew right off it was a charming and friendly spot to stay. It is also only 15 minutes from NL ferry so really convenient to catch boat in am. 89$!! This was amazingly good value!

Stayed here for the weekend, wonderful experience. Clean basic rooms, perfect location for doing day trips around Cape Breton, close to stores/Timmies, easy check in/check out with very friendly, helpful lady behind the counter. Great cozy place to sleep for our 2 nights. Lady at the front desk is friendly and very helpful. In the room there are 2 beds, TV, microwave, mini fridge. Would definitely stay here again.

The people who run the hotel are delightfully sweet. However, they need air conditioning in the units. Way too hot in the suites
