We are conveniently located in Cape Breton Regional Municipality between Sydney and Glace Bay in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada. If you are travelling with pets please let us know ahead of time so we can book you in one of our pet friendly rooms. Only small pets are allowed and there is a $10 pet fee per day.
We also require a $200 damage deposit in cash. We offer you 15 clean and comfortable rooms, some with kitchenettes, in a spacious park-like setting. All our rooms have double beds. Each room is equipped with free wifi, 24 hour telephone, cable television, clock radio, and individual thermostat controls.

Every time I come to the CBRM for a show I stay at the Jacques Cartier. It’s a great price, incredibly clean and the current owners will not leaving you hanging if you need something at any time of day. It’s also in a great location right about in the center of Glacé Bay an Sydney. I highly recommend this wicked little spot!!!

We have been coming from N.B every summer my family to visit my family here in Dominion. We love it here the owners Larissa & Andre are the kindest people & a beautiful couple. Very refreshing Whatever you need… it's close by & close to the ocean & beaches. Every year we stay longer & longer. Very nice clean beautiful place. Flowers & BBQ Fire pit & a beautiful canopy to do yoga anything. This will be our forever place & apart of our Cape Breton & my family here ❤

We have just arrived home from staying at Jacques Cartier motel after being there for several months.it was the most enjoyable experience.loved the quiet area ,clean environment.surrounded by safety camera ,feeling of being taken care off.each year there has been beautiful new work done on their land,making it so welcoming by the new owners of the past 3 years making it a must stay ever year.thank you Laura and Andre for the amazing stay.....David and Sheila brace

I cannot say enough amazing things about this motel, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious, they are always updating something every year we have come down, they are super friendly, helpful and accommodating I… would give them a 10 star if that was a thing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s a great family setting which is a rarity in motels, we have been coming down for years and have brought our 2 & 4 year old children with us and have never had an issue with parties
