A pawn loan is a simpler and easier way to receive a cash loan. Pawn loans work with collateral, rather than your personal credit. This helps avoid damaging your financial profile, because there are no credit checks involved!

Put simply; you come in with an item, we make you an offer, you can chose whether or not to agree to the offer, we give you 30 days (with an additional 7 days on us), you pick up the loan for what we gave you plus a surcharge and we give you your stuff back!And if you decide you don't want your stuff back, there's no hard feelings!

There is really no difference between pawning and selling your item. You receive the same amount, and it's written up nearly the same. The only major difference is; pawning you come back for your item and selling you don't. Although, we do try to recommend to our clients, that if they are trying to sell, private sales will usually get them more money in the long run!

When pawning an item, there are lots of things we take into consideration to come up with a fair price! The first thing we look at is the age. Normally, if an item is older, it's more than likely lowered in value. The next thing we look at is the condition. Does it look like it did when it was new?

All pawn loans are written up for 30 days! However, we here at Loan Star give ALL our clients the benefit of the doubt and give you an additional 7 days to pick up or extend your loan with NO late charges! Also, don't worry about forgetting your due date. We send out text messages, give phone calls, send emails, give you a sheet with the information and have a mobile app to help you stay on track.
