We began caring for pools and hot tubs in 1971 when our owner Steve Kovacs, a competitive swimmer and member of the Canadian national water polo team, started cleaning pools with a college friend. They soon began building pools and doing small repairs and then introduced the first hot tub to Canada in the 1980's from California.
Steve and his wife Linda eventually fell in love with South Delta where they have now lived for over 30 years with their 3 sons. We moved the business here with a vision to serve the local community and opened a local pool store in Tsawwassen. In 2000, we moved the store to Ladner, and now back in Tsawwassen!

With our weekly maintenance plans we will take care of your pool and hot tub on a regular basis keeping your water perfectly balanced so you can relax and enjoy it. If something isn't working, our staff can help diagnose and fix your pumps, motors, filters, cleaners, equipment, and heaters. Let us help you understand how your pool or hot tub works and what it requires to maintain it yourself.
From weekly service plans to openings and inspections we are passionate about making pool and hot tub ownership as easy and enjoyable as possible. It is recommended that you drain, clean, refill and balance your hot tub every 3-4 months so your water is safe. We can do this for you so you don't have to worry about it!
We'd love it if pools operated seamlessly forever once they were installed, but we understand that, over time, things happen. Pumps, motors and filters are crucial to the operation of your pool and unfortunately, they can malfunction. Luckily, Swim Blue is here for you, and our professionals are ready to repair or replace these components as need be.
