We are excited to announce that following the guidelines of the Government of British Columbia, our office is NOW OPEN. The health & safety of our patients and staff is always our top priority. Dr. Golpira is a graduate from UBC with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in 2006 and Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D) in 2010.

After graduation, Dr. Golpira has worked in areas of Vancouver, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Burnaby, and Langley. When plaque stays on the tooth for more than 24 hours it causes decay which weakens and destroys tooth enamel. Decay grows in size with time and should be treated as soon as possible to prevent root canal treatment and potentially tooth loss.

Kids need special attention in an unfamiliar situation like on a dental chair. We realize that and take the time with them and strive to make their dental experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. We have entertainment in the waiting area and TVs on the ceiling in dental rooms to keep them entertained during their appointment.
When plaque stays on the tooth for more than 24 hours it causes decay which weakens and destroys tooth enamel. The affected portion of the tooth is cleaned and restored by a filling.
Dental extraction is the removal of a tooth from the mount. No one wants to lose a tooth, and our role, as dentists, is to save the teeth when possible. Extractions are required when a tooth cannot be restored to function in the mouth. Generally, a tooth cannot be restored to function due to large decay, extensive fracture, or gum disease.
