To effectively treat any problem in the body, one must start with the proper investigation of the source of the problem. Too often we see patients use a 'try-and-see' approach, going from office to office, and consulting various practitioners and receiving a wide variety of treatments with mixed and often disappointing results.
When you come for your first visit, you'll fill out a brief, easy to complete questionnaire (download it right here), and fill it out in advance. Dr. Gertz will take a thorough history of your current problem or state of health, past and family health history, and lifestyle history. This will help to uncover the possible causes of your health problem and learn more about ways to optimize your health.
Foot orthotics allow the muscles, tendons and bones of the feet and lower legs to function at their highest potential. When appropriately prescribed, orthotics can decrease pain, not only in the foot, but in other parts of the body such as the knee, hip and lower back.

The questionnaire gives us information about you and your past and current health. All the Massage Therapists at this clinic are Registered Massage Therapists and therefore bring to your treatment the highest level of knowledge and skills.
At our clinic, we recognize that your internal environment is as important as your external physical health. As we tend to many of your external injuries, or we are in the process of the rehabilitation of a problem, proper attention must also be placed on a healthy lifestyle. This means reviewing not only what you do to your body throughout the day but also what you put in it!

Dr. Gordon Gertz has been around for several years and I can see why. He’s cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable, patient and effective.
I came here a couple of years ago with a lower back issue and with his help I’ve seen steady and sustainable progress.
There are two RMTs here as well. I have had appointments with Daniel and he’s an RMT version of Dr. Gertz - similar qualities.
I keep coming back every now and then for ongoing treatment and I’d recommend anyone to try them out!

Everything about this location is great. You are told at an indepth, slow rate; what is happening to your body and why it's happening. Then, you are told what will be done and why and how. You are there, included in the conversation. After all, it is your body. And they understand that, they don't just look at you like another thing to hurry and finish. This is all in person.

I am so pleased after a wonderfully informative assessment with Dr. Gertz. He is so welcoming and kind, and I could tell he truly cares about his patients and enjoyes what he does.
I had also booked an RMT massage with Daniel today after my assessment with Dr. Gertz.
Daniel is also extremenly friendly and very skilled. I was immediately comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed my treatment.

Extremely flexible appt schedule, Dr. Gertz is very professional and a skilled chiropractor. I recently had a massage done by Erik who is also very professional and a skilled massage therapist.
That combined with their location, it's within 5min. walking distance of the Canada Line and their polite secretary's. It's a good place.

Lori (RMT) is patient and very skillful. I simply didn't appreciate that they charged me full price because I was late. I understand it's important for these business to follow strict scheduling system. I would have gratefully waited until they have a free spot (which I know they have a lot of), or re-schedule. Oh well.

I am a new client of Lori Banks - RMT at Pacific Chiropratic and I was very impressed with her interest and thoroughness during my treatment. I was looking for a chiropractor and find this location very close to my place. I was reluctant to try as I found my previous Chiro more of a salesman, and pushy. But my experience with Pacific Chiropractic has been very positive. Dr. Gertz is very friendly, experienced, honest. I never felt that he is pushing sessions, or products to me. The staff are friendly, and helpful as well.

Great spot for a great RMT in yaletown without the yaletown attitude!
The clinic is very nice and clean, they have very peaceful and almost spa like atmosphere, and their therapists (I've seen Shanon and Jana), are great.
I prefer this spot to other ones on Mainland/Hamilton whose got more of the Yaletown attitude and higher prices!
